The 90s. What an excellent time to be growing up.
Absolutely. I miss 1999 when I was 13 years old.
man that fox sunday looks like a blast! simpsons, futurama, xfiles, king of the hill!? what more could you want
I'd definitely be watching that
It was! Sunday nights on fox were the best nights on television.
Times were good, baby, times were good
Right along with dinner oh man it was great
@@ashguy1370 Remember when we had to wait the whole summer to learn who killed Mr. Burns or whatever. Man they had us stung along every night making sure to remind us... That is what I remember the most. But for some reason I remember the X-Files coming on-on Fridays. They must have moved it to Sundays.
Man it just seemed like a different world. Pre-9/11 I suppose. Something about all the ads just seemed lighter. Just like music from this era.
It is a different world man. Pre-9/11 was just a different reality. What we are in now just sucks.
I 100% agree. Pre-9/11 was a more innocent time.
Everyone was happy. like literally happy, we were just joking around and had no worries in life. There was an optimistic happy feeling when u looked at the future, also I feel like there was a feeling of togetherness in the 90s, and i just feel everyone is divided nowadays, its just crazy.
@@numan2985 i totally agree. I think social media added to the death of the good ol'days too. 2007 put the nail in the coffin
@@z0mbie.beast125 I so agree with you! I just feel 2007 was the exact year every modern technology started, and society changed with social media and smartphones and also the internet!
I'm so glad I was lucky enough to be a teenager in the late 90's/early 00's! I was just the right age to soak in all the pop culture of the era!
Really? I think it was better as a kid. I was 10 in 99 so grew up as a kid in the 90s which I think was incredible. The early 2000s was cool too
Lucky
'99 wasn't very long ago. Twenty years isn't a really long time. As you get older and are able to put it in perspective more.
Nice nice i was 5 in 99 and oh boy life was better back then
Nope, being a teen was DEFINITELY better!!!!
To think we are now watching commercials we used to hate sitting thru.. what a sad future, the horror
Terrifying
I think commercials best epitomize the essence of the time period. It’s so nostalgic.
It just shows you how degenerate our World has become.
You're so dramatic, it's not even funny. Now, THAT'S sad
lol you just mad me laugh, because I remember rolling my eyes saying "UGH, WHYYYYYY" then I was happy to learn about Netflix back in 2012/13 ( I was away in the Army living under a rock) I was so happy to watch "tv" without commercials, then something happened in 2018... I missed both together.
watching this makes me feel sad and happy at the same time
Kinda like the ending to The Tigger Movie
Me too
Same
Nostalgia ✨
Didn't know anything about how messed up the world was. Just a kid enjoying life when these aired
If companies actually made ads like this again, we wouldn't be skipping them
They are soooooooo boring today, we took advantage of them!
Watching this makes me miss 1999 even more. I was 10 years old during that year.
I was 7 lol
6 for me
I was 12
@@Ancient_Chronicler Cool
Same. The 90s were awesome to grow up as a kid
Seeing the Dreamcast brought some emotional nostalgia. Rip Dreamcast
I was in 7th grade when it came out. My buddy got one soon after launch and somehow, SOMEHOW I managed to convince him to trade me it for my ps1 lol. He did it
Rip. Sega Dreamcast
I remember when my older brother (in middle school at the time) got one of those. He'd let me play it occasionally. So much fun!
Dude Sega dreamcast was online in 1999 crazy! I never saw that att commercial before.
It’s been 22 years since 1999? That’s crazy
Right! 😭
23 now and I remember my parents were stocking up on food and water supplies trying to get prepared for the Y2K pandemic
24 now yay
@@someonejust5062 I have a prank story about that to my mom.. I got her good! Breaker box!
I was in my 20's that entire decade. The mid and late 90s was my best and favorite time! Miss those days.
1999 I was in 8th grade going into high school. I miss those days!
I miss the 90’s. Pre-9/11 was a more innocent time.
ua-cam.com/video/KemjvWp_2T4/v-deo.html
It definitely was! It breaks my heart that things will never be the same. I mean the world was worth to live in back then, time changed so much. The only thing we have left from that era are the memories
Love these commercials. Brings back a lot of memories from this kid born in 87.
Man- Y2K 😂 I just saw a computer the other day that had a sticker that said ‘Y2K safe’
Not gonna lie I remember being pretty freaked out about it back then 😂😂
That was back before internet trolling was mainstream. We know better now.
I wonder how many kids are confused seeing that GTA commercial.
Yes, that's what it use to look like lmao.. 😂
Bro worked at Blockbuster, got to play GTA 1, few days before anyone else.
That makes me pretty OG, imo.
💯
Yep
Man seeing David Arquette and Marlon Wayans is nostalgic.
Seeing the towers at 24:08 ugh... chills.. I'll never forget that day.
If only they were still standing in NY, today in 2023.
A fellow northeast ohioan.....your videos of 90s commercials are really something special to me....I miss the 90s like crazy, if you made a DVD collection of these I would 100% buy them
I think when DVDs were taking over for VHS.
Make a Vhs of them!
Man I loved my dreamcast. Every day after high school it was sonic and hydro thunder for at least 2 or 3 hours. 99 was an awsome year, I was 18. The absolute freak out by some people about Y2k was crazy...
Y2K hysteria was hilarious.
Now we live immersed in hysteria to the point that we can't distinguish truth and hype anymore.
Yeah that whole Y2K thing was such a huge deal, then nothing happened lol
Watching these videos just gives me comfort
The world was so happy back then.
Back when we weren’t lied to about WMDs in Iraq killing more Americans than on 9/11/01.
life was simpler back them I miss the 90s it was a decade that I wish I can relived every time
Did they really think Buster Bluth wouldn't eat all the chili cheese dip? That's on them.
Ahh, Childhood memories... All summed up in less than 30 minutes. I wanted to come here to smile and laugh. Instead, I'm wiping away the tears, realizing these times are forever gone, and I just have to except it.
R.I.P Kobe Bryant
I had 10 years back then, my life was basically everything regarding pokemon, smash bros and cartoons (cartoon network and nickelodeon). The 90s were a great time to be a kid not gonna lie.
I was 11
Great times. My early 20s . When everyone just had fun. Unlike today's bullshit.
Bullshit is the perfect word for all of us today.
@@hectorlopez1069 today is bullshit. Everything has gotten worse.
The Syphon Filter commercial was a little extreme. He's going around the city imagining he was in the game killing people? Haha. That's LITERALLY the argument for the people who think violent games means more violence in real life.
Yeah, it's like they were reveling in the idea.
You really sparked some memories on this one. Great compilation! Thank you!!😄
Man people who make Ads these days don't even try...no wonder no one watches TV anymore
Ima tell my grandkids this is how long our commercial breaks lasted in the 90’s
From seeing those cell phone commercials back then and not knowing what it did to us today. It's amazing. ONLY IF WE HAD KNOWN THAT DEVICE WOULD CHANGE US ALL ! !
y2k lol I remember that. Everyone thought the computers would crash because they couldn't handle the calendar programming. AAAAANNNNDDDDD then 9/11 and the world has never been the same since.
ua-cam.com/video/KemjvWp_2T4/v-deo.html
2:10 Rip Brittany Murphy
so like, you guys realize that’s Melania Trump in the Panasonic ad, right? Starts around 4:30.
it is tho, right???
Yes. That’s her. 😂
I was surprised there wasn't more comments about it!
Wow I remembered most of these commercials especially the Taz in the monte carlo also deuce bigalow was an awesome movie
Thank you for the great memories 👍🏽
Awesome mix! The 90s were the best.
Pre 2000s a different era of time
When people would do whatever they wanted at every Airports before 9/11.
People should just throw away their smartphones and delete their social media accounts and we can go back to times like these. Lol.
Too late. We’re already FAR TOO GONE! 😂😭
@@BlackTrunksPodcast Haha isn't that the truth :(, but imagine if humanity did do that, I think the world would be 100% better.
I don't think anybody would want to throw away their smartphones now in this era.
@@suzziesmith6302 We can only imagine. 😭
I think we have dumbed down too much to do that...we rely so much on technology...ppl would be getting lost...cashiers would lose their jobs and convos would be awkward lol....only ppl who experienced life before smartphones would be able to survive....so if you were born after 95 guess what??? lol
Those Budweiser commercials were the best, I remember them well.
And the bud light commercials as well.
OMG the 1-800-Collect commercials had me geeking out lmao o if we only had a time machine
I grew up in the early 00s and it’s crazy how much we’d despise sitting through commercials .. we even pay extra to be add free for certain apps. Yet here we all are watching ads 😂
Thanks for posting. Love the channel. There's something a bit therapeutic about these old commercials. A time when little league baseball and waiting for The Phantom Menace to open were the biggest concerns.
Can you imagine that Anna Kournikova commercial today? LOL
That's crazy that I just saw the future First Lady in one of those commercials😭
Never knew they had TV spots for "The Scarlet Pimpernel." I saw that play on Broadway that year. It was a pretty good show.
1999 and 2000 were so special 😭 and syphon Filter was the best game on Ps1
I loved that first commercial every time it used to come on TV.
Oh man Syphon Filter, I remember that! That game is awesome!!
I wish I could go back
Man wish it was still the 90s….recording everything onto Vhs off tv and onto tape off the radio! Arcades, where you could smoke in them and play street fighter til yr eyes bled. Everything pre 9-11 was so different and People were seriously smarter too.
I noticed people were smarter as well in the 90’s
That Michelobe Light commercial did it for (and to) me! 😍🤣
I give anything to go back to 1999.
Omg the OG GTA ❤ the 1st was amazing at the time. I stole every viper i saw
So many memories!
What a Sunday night line up at 2:30
Syphon Filter was fun af
Happy Gilmore was one of Adam Sandler greatest movies. Everybody would watch it on fox on regular TV in 1999.
Wow I remember most of these commercials like they were yesterday
I was beginning the 6th grade in middle school, in 1999,when these commercials happen.
Dude kb toys miss that store so much.
I remember seeing that N64 Resident Evil 2 commercial as a kid and freaking out when I got the game for Xmas that year.
that syphon filter commercial in the beginning was so sick
Miss the days of playing Turok on my N64 after a Pokémon marathon.
Aaaaaaagh now I wanna watch old futurama episodes again T_T
That Cartoon Is Amazing From Beginning To End
Greed is my all-time favorite game show. Long overdue for a reboot, I might add.
Y2k the movie!! 😂😂😂
Is that MELANIA TRUMP AT 4:33 ???
Not sure, but I think it is!
Yes
Yes
This is the most 90s, 90s set of commercials ever.
16:51 NBA on NBC promo (1)
18:10 NBA on NBC promo (2)
1999. I was 11 years old back then. Now I’m 35. Where does the time go? :(
I was a teenager in 1999, but still don't really remember many of these 90s commercials in any of these types of compilation videos. I guess I just mostly ignored commercials back then like I do now lol.
Syphon filter brought back memories geezz
I miss the 90s 😞
90s commercials are way more interesting to see on your cellphone now.
99 and 2k crazy time
6:40 kid is using speed.
Back when commercials were fun
I know I'm from Cleveland, but on this commercial at 10:33, I literally thought that guy eating chips and dip was Steve from Blue's Clues.
😂😂😂
ALLEN IVERSON 😍😍😍 these commercials make me feel so good
18:10
23:55 He performed near the Twin Towers!
My home town represented with Denise Dufala promo! Which is wild, because her profile came up on my FB as a friend suggestion just 2 days prior to viewing this video.
Back when cops were on The news for playing softball on duty lol
wow have they gone a long way from then lol
Right! Wtf? 😂
That Syphon Filter commercial:
"Sein....Feld..."
😂😂😂
ua-cam.com/video/TguXnZGmCfU/v-deo.html
I was in Jr high in 1999 but don't remember almost any of these ads
Watching nostalgic ads with ads over here. Ads on ads, ading it up. Wanna watch old ads? Well here you go. Just a few other new ads once in a while... no beefs.
10:34 - Buster !!!!
A lot of these remind me of watching Monday Night Raw & SmackDown with a frozen pizza.
Wow that was one X-TREME pong game lol
The David Arquette/Marlon Wayans ATT ad where they are dressed as ninjas and talking with Asian accents would never fly today.
I know and it's such a kool ad....but of course ppl would find a reason to be mad lol
My dad managed a on toys. Good memories 💜💜💜🤘🏼
Kb toys ** :X
Syphon Filter GTA 2 such nostalgia
Lmao. 5:14, I totally remember this commercial 😂
"The price is wrong...bobby"
I think this is the year (1999), that Mike judge, quit doing Beavis and Butthead and begin doing King of the Hill.
1997.
4:56 that looks like Melania Trump.
omg nooooo lol
I think so too
