I was in 7th grade when it came out. My buddy got one soon after launch and somehow, SOMEHOW I managed to convince him to trade me it for my ps1 lol. He did it
A fellow northeast ohioan.....your videos of 90s commercials are really something special to me....I miss the 90s like crazy, if you made a DVD collection of these I would 100% buy them
Man- Y2K 😂 I just saw a computer the other day that had a sticker that said ‘Y2K safe’ Not gonna lie I remember being pretty freaked out about it back then 😂😂
Man I loved my dreamcast. Every day after high school it was sonic and hydro thunder for at least 2 or 3 hours. 99 was an awsome year, I was 18. The absolute freak out by some people about Y2k was crazy...
It definitely was! It breaks my heart that things will never be the same. I mean the world was worth to live in back then, time changed so much. The only thing we have left from that era are the memories
Ahh, Childhood memories... All summed up in less than 30 minutes. I wanted to come here to smile and laugh. Instead, I'm wiping away the tears, realizing these times are forever gone, and I just have to except it.
From seeing those cell phone commercials back then and not knowing what it did to us today. It's amazing. ONLY IF WE HAD KNOWN THAT DEVICE WOULD CHANGE US ALL ! !
I wonder how many kids are confused seeing that GTA commercial. Yes, that's what it use to look like lmao.. 😂 Bro worked at Blockbuster, got to play GTA 1, few days before anyone else. That makes me pretty OG, imo.
I had 10 years back then, my life was basically everything regarding pokemon, smash bros and cartoons (cartoon network and nickelodeon). The 90s were a great time to be a kid not gonna lie.
The Syphon Filter commercial was a little extreme. He's going around the city imagining he was in the game killing people? Haha. That's LITERALLY the argument for the people who think violent games means more violence in real life.
y2k lol I remember that. Everyone thought the computers would crash because they couldn't handle the calendar programming. AAAAANNNNDDDDD then 9/11 and the world has never been the same since.
I grew up in the early 00s and it’s crazy how much we’d despise sitting through commercials .. we even pay extra to be add free for certain apps. Yet here we all are watching ads 😂
Thanks for posting. Love the channel. There's something a bit therapeutic about these old commercials. A time when little league baseball and waiting for The Phantom Menace to open were the biggest concerns.
I think we have dumbed down too much to do that...we rely so much on technology...ppl would be getting lost...cashiers would lose their jobs and convos would be awkward lol....only ppl who experienced life before smartphones would be able to survive....so if you were born after 95 guess what??? lol

Watching nostalgic ads with ads over here. Ads on ads, ading it up. Wanna watch old ads? Well here you go. Just a few other new ads once in a while... no beefs.
The 90s. What an excellent time to be growing up.
Absolutely. I miss 1999 when I was 13 years old.
man that fox sunday looks like a blast! simpsons, futurama, xfiles, king of the hill!? what more could you want
I'd definitely be watching that
It was! Sunday nights on fox were the best nights on television.
Times were good, baby, times were good

I was in my 20's that entire decade. The mid and late 90s was my best and favorite time! Miss those days.
I'm so glad I was lucky enough to be a teenager in the late 90's/early 00's! I was just the right age to soak in all the pop culture of the era!
Really? I think it was better as a kid. I was 10 in 99 so grew up as a kid in the 90s which I think was incredible. The early 2000s was cool too

'99 wasn't very long ago. Twenty years isn't a really long time. As you get older and are able to put it in perspective more.
Nice nice i was 5 in 99 and oh boy life was better back then
Nope, being a teen was DEFINITELY better!!!!
Man it just seemed like a different world. Pre-9/11 I suppose. Something about all the ads just seemed lighter. Just like music from this era.
It is a different world man. Pre-9/11 was just a different reality. What we are in now just sucks.
I 100% agree. Pre-9/11 was a more innocent time.

Terrifying
I think commercials best epitomize the essence of the time period. It’s so nostalgic.
It just shows you how degenerate our World has become.
