I even felt a little emotional as he used the yellow ball because his son liked the color of the ball. That was cool that he played the ball because of his son and actually won. Salute!!

The majority of social media is just junk for clicks and likes. I grew up on golf and love our sport. This guy was 100% genuine. I had a lump in my throat. Not gonna lie.... I will be watching for this guy now. Wish him the best!!!

I was lucky enough to be at the final round today...impossible not to root for Malnati. Smiles constantly, looks like he's having the best time, just radiates good dudeness.
Peter is universally liked on Tour. Always guys rooting or shouting for him when I go to West Coast tournaments. Glad to see him get a win, Masters here we come!

I love seeing this guy win. A family man who isn't one of the top players on tour but has stuck through it and got rewarded with a win today and a 2 year exemption and entry into the Masters. Great story

Been a fan of Malnati’s the past few years. Amazing short game, occasionally gets hot with the irons and that’s usually when he top 10s. He had everything going this week and I couldn’t be happier for him, what a genuine guy
He came to to volunteer tent 2 yrs ago at the Arnold
Arnold Palmer Invitational. Real nice guy. This video shows you what a grind it is to compete week in and week out. Happy for him. 👍

@@michaelshaffer3393 Thanks brother, initial bet 8 bucks down, 3208 payout, but live bet him after each day ended...he had a great 1st day, 5 under...was 11-1 this morning, cashed out 4360 on Fan Duel....now need to be good for Holy Week and take a break until Augusta...already have some horses lined up, lol
@donatoiacovino6968 well his last win was 2015 so that 400-1 wasn't personal. Just based on his production over the years. Golf is hard. Tough to win. Kudos to him and well deserved win.

Given the tragedy with Grayson Murray, this interview along with the one more recently with Peter regarding Grayson's passing, the words chosen indicate that there is quite a bit of mental fatigue in the professional ranks of the game. Now add Lexi Thompson's retirement and her comments during the announcement and my gut says there is a problem lurking beneath the surface. Time to start looking into it. Something isn't right.

Good win but at the same time would the drought still be alive if the best of the best didn't go to LIV? He says it got harder but technically it has gotten easier due to LIV departures.

I assume this guy is ranked low and earlier last week or this week there was talk in making the pga tour more competitive and lowering the amount of people on tour different things that had to do with the new deal with pif and all that liv stuff if they did cut down on the people on tour people like Pete would’ve won so that’s interesting to see this idea unfold
