The difficulty spike at the shipyard is pretty crazy. Me and my friends were in college, passing the controller around on release day, and were breezing through the game until the shipyard, which took us almost 2 hours to clear on hard. Some of us, myself included, started passing on our turns so someone with a better chance could get us through it. There’s one more tough fight near the end, but nowhere near as bad as this one.
Great action packed episode! Swimming mechanic seems kind of rough. I was expecting way more deaths based on the video title, but you handled it really well... If you want to talk about infuriating wait untill you need around 500 attempts to succeed at something in a game, lol.
The shipyard part is definitely the most frustrating part of the game but it can be fun playing it on crushing. I played it after I already beat the game. It’s definitely stressful if it’s your first time.
Nathan Fillion should have been the actor to play a live action Nathan Drake……like Jesus why did Sony fumble this so hard. We all like Tom Holland, that doesn’t mean I want him to play our favorite characters when he isn’t the right fit!
to be a little bit fair, Fillion is a bit too old now, and even back then, Sony wasnt doing game adaptations in the way they are now, but yeah Holland is a miss.
For the first two games, Naughty Dog wrote the story first and then developed set pieces afterwards. Unfortunately for Drake's Deception, the set pieces were chosen first and they wrote the story around them. The result is a weird jigsaw puzzle of locations that don't really fit together.
Very accurate, a major reason that this game is my least favourite of the series. The pacing is horrendous and that shipyard area made me forgot what game I was playing 😭
Yeah, the Shipyard is the game throwing everything at you, and it defintiely feels unfair, but you handled it well. Imagine playing this on crushing for the platinum, lol
Cati kati I suggest you please play Watch dogs 1 that came story telling hacking skills fighting it's amazing you will have funny Assassin friend and another character T bomb you will love this game upload this gaming video
After all these years, I still don't really like or care for the shipyard/pirate part of the game. Not because it's bad or frustrating, but I find it boring (even with the set pieces) compared to other parts of the game.

Hey, at least we got that really cool fan film he did a few years ago, I go back and watch that because it was so fun
Fillion is too old to play Nate, plus he's not a Box Office draw. Don't agree with it, but it makes perfect sense why Sony chose Tom Holland.

Guy at minute 23:54 looks like a ghostbuster.

I know getting through that ship graveyard was a challenge for you, cause it was for me too the first time.

Yeah Uncharted 3 is the hardest game in the series.
