I'm really hoping you continue on with the rest of the Resident Evil series, at least the rest of the "modern" releases (RE3 and 4 remakes to finish off the Raccoon City story in 3 and continue Leon's story in 4, and 7 and 8 to see where the series is currently at). Your playthrough has been a lot of fun to watch so far. As a RE fan who has been playing this series since 1998 it is great to see people come into these games and storylines with fresh eyes.

I love how after giving your prediction of Tyr being Odin, I shouted "A GAAAAAME THEORY!!!!!!!" You said right after. Just a few seconds later and I'd of said at the same time. And seeing as how I started trying to catch up after seeing you got to that point, there's no reason to not add. People say they often hear raven noises from the closet. That may be the only sign you guys miss but I'm not caught up yet. I also thought killing Níðhöggr was so unnecessary, they could have totally gone back for "Tyr" back up and sense it's for not killing someone "Tyr" should have been forced to help. That or ask Ratatoskr to reason with her some how. Just some writing that bothered me about the game. I don't even know if you go back to comments so this may be pointless.

Leon is very cheesy in this but that's essentially what fans wanted lmao. Leon is known for his cheesiness and fans would've lost it if he wasn't that way like he is in the original. Personally, i don't mind it considering the setting and im a sucker for cheesy 90s dialogue

Man. Brok dying hit me when I first played. I played it 3 months after my sister died. She was in a car accident 2 years ago. I remember I was in tears seeing Sindri broken.

I remember in my playthrough, I felt off about Tyr almost from the start. Maybe it was my experience with this series that got me ready for this great God to ultimately betray Kratos for whatever reason or maybe that Odin managed to turn him after all those years of torture. He kept poking division all passive aggressively, I've known people like this in real life, so I saw it. But I never thought he was actually Odin himself, wow GoW Ragnarok really genuinely surprised me there, bravo game. Looking back on all of his scenes and dialogue, it really sheds some light on how Odin actually felt about Tyr. He played him so, mockingly, he made him seem so pathetic and weak, but also he was kind of obviously a fake in some parts. He'd let it slip too. Also, hey, remember when you guys didn't like Brok that much back when ya'll first met him? Man, take a good long look because he's gone, no more comedic relief or levity in this story, Lol. Just going to be dead serious from here on out.

I am so happy you guys have gotten to this point. I started watching since your GoW 2018 playthrough. I'm looking forward to you wrapping the story, doing the last few side quests, then Valhalla. Just be sure to do those essential side quests before Valhalla

Being in the shop upgrading stuff during so much story was kinda sad...yI'm glad you jumped out so you could enjoy....... Edit... Yep... Enjoyment isn't the right word. Brok's death was truly shocking to me, however Sindri"s scene was for me the best in the game... So raw and emotive - and so well acted. A bummer to play on Christmas Eve though! Sorry you had to go through what we all went through, but I was glad to see that you handled it so well and that, for better or worse, the twist wasn't ruined for you. Regarding post-endgame stuff, I'll echo what I'm sure other have already said: 1. Stop by Niflheim to start a new sidequest that will be available. 2. The "true" ending after everything is a short sidequest you pick up from Lunda. 3. The song that plays during the end credits (after the sidequest I mentioned in #2) will get you DMCA'd at the speed of light, but for your own private listening it is an amazing piece. 4. The Valhalla DLC is the most amazing DLC they could have given us, not even taking into account that it is free. Whether you play it for us or not... just please play it. Thank you for this series. Whether it's God of War, Bloodborne, etc., I love watching you two. But for now... ready yourselves. The big showdown is coming. For Brok 🫡😢

I cried on my first playthrough and I had to turn off the game to collect myself, tried to continue the next day and I still freaking cry when they meet up with Sindri

The one detail someone mentioned that gets me now - whenever Atreus says "I thought we were his family" you can hear Syndri gasping/sobbing quietly in the background away from us. Dealing with loss and pushing away you were close to in anger/frustration in himself truly shows how devastated he is now.

You will get the answer to the riddle you just have to keep going. I want to see when you get there.

If you do a replay, the Odin hints are INCREDIBLE! Bravo to the writing team for telking us without us knowing until the reveal

The Odin twist is genuinely in my opinion, one of the best crafted and executed twists in gaming. The whole game is recontextualized after that reveal and it all makes sense. So well done and bravo to the writing team for coming up with this and pulling it off

4:43 I really like the use of the background music in this scene. As Tyr/Odin was laying out the plan to get to Asgard the music sounds upbeat, inspirational, and hopeful. But then as soon as Brok starts voicing his doubts the music switches to ominous and suspicious like there is tension building.

Now that you know for sure that Odin was disguised as Tyr this entire time it is kind of fun to go back and look at all the subtle hints they were giving through the earlier scenes in the game.

Happy new year in advance! I’ve seen bugs that are more annoying than the R1 R2 glitch. I think running the game in performance mode over the high fidelity mode might solve the issue. But it’s a minor inconvenience if you don’t have OCD😅

We always understood that this episode would be pretty silent. I am so very sorry if someone spoiled any part of this reveal to you, but what a scene! It is genuinely so well done that even knowing what is going to happen, it still rocks me to my core. I love your guys' content, this series in particular has been amazing. I mentioned this in another video But what's so crazy about Odin is that he didn't need to kill Brok. Odin is someone who doesn't like when people defy him in any way. He's someone who will lie just on impulse or on principle even if he doesn't need to, and over the smallest of things, as Mimir says at one point in the game Odin says how he doesn't much care for Brok and insults Kratos' intelligence. Once when he lost a bet against the giant who built Asgard's walls, he complained about it to Freya drunk, and lied to the rest of Asgard about how the wall was built. He has an extreme superiority complex and inferiority complex, and wants to give off that he's in control and that his way is the only way. The fact that Brok, who he supremely underestimated, managed to see through him and call him out when he said he had a secret way into Asgard, saw that he had no possessions when Tyr wanted to supposedly get his things, saw that Tyr has offered no real assistance, and came up with the idea for the spear that defeated Heimdall in the first place, shows how smart he actually is, which to Odin, was an insult to his intelligence. So in short, Odin couldn't take the L.
