The installation video is misleading. For installtion on my 2019 Ford F-150, the wiper doesn’t just slide in and lock with a click easily like in the video. The adapter center where the J hook goes in has a curve bend on both side at the end. After the wiper is fully inserted into the J hook and feels like it's hitting a stop, I have to pull hard to force the J hook to pass the bend which locked the wiper in place without a click sound 😆
Thank you for replying. Their video sucks. Don’t remove the plastic cover that their directions says to leave on? The plastic blue piece? They do a poor job here.
I took the j hook clips out of the default adapter to examine them on the jhook without the blade, there's nothing that would actually click into the hole on the jhook as the OEM mechanism has. Additionally, i pushed the release clip to examine it's function, it doesn't actually move anything... very odd. The OEM release clip clearly moves a locking mechanism up and down.

@@sonnylai3251 yup! I've done this many times over the years, but this is the first time it just doesn't work. I used much force too, trust me. Went back to an OEM set. Oh well.

I installed the wiper on my F-150, it will just slide in but doesn't lock in place with a click
@@sonnylai3251 yeah, it would slide on just fine, but easily slides right off again

When installing, what does one do, if it does not insert into the hook all the way til it clicks?

@sonnylai3251 did the wipers still feel loose or were really easy to take off and on?
less stupid arty shots and more information
These instructions are terrible; very incomplete. You should instruct re: the removable plastic pieces that may or may not come off. Grade: D-
