Canon Pixma MG2950: How to Print a Nozzle Check Test Page

In this video I show you how to do a test print from a Canon Pixma MG2950 inkjet printer, directly from the machine itself. This means that this method can be used with the PC off or even if your printer is not connected to anything at all.
A nozzle check is a great way to troubleshoot print quality issues with your canon printer, and check the printers ability to produce black, photo black, cyan, magenta and yellow using the installed PG-545 and CL-546 cartridges. If you do experience any print quality issues I would recommend doing one or more cleaning cycles from your printer.
This piece of essential maintenance can also be done on many other Canon Pixma MG2900 series printers. These include the MG2910, MG2920, MG2940, MG2960, MG2970, MG2980 and MG2990.

I’m having issues with my printer it’s the MG3022 it’s not printing whatsoever I changed the ink cartridge only the color not the black should I have changed both of them ? Because the only light on is the black one. I tried testing it like in your video but it did nothing .

Then you don't have to worry about the level of yellow ink.....
