- The perfect bag for my FT-891 go kit for Parks on the Air (POTA). I recently found this fishing rod case on Amazon that’s the perfect size for the FT-891 and telescopic 17ft vertical antennas like the Chameleon MPAS Lite. Lots of organization options in an awesome bag with semi-hard sides.

Hi nice set up - im thinkin about the 891 since the G90 calved but with the extra tuner- expensive - may have to just try another G90 good luck 73

@@w4arb i do have one but not sure i want to pack it with everythig else just incase i ever get to activate --- yes i loved the G90 im just kinda disappointed it calved and is only 3 yrs old and wasnt used much - but half the price well see thanks

It’s still one of the bags in my rotation! It’s held up well. I use it when I want to carry a full load out because it holds everything well.

Very well put together, now you can just leave it in the truck and you can be on the air almost at any time! When I built my box I wanted to build one just like K9laf (you can see it in his qrz page) but it got too complicated. You can easily fit a kx2 in there too.

Nice, whats the all up weight?
With the whole kit including the 891, tuner, MPAS, a full size CW key, battery, all the cables and such, it’s not very light. Probably 25-30 pounds or so. But easy to carry with the handle or shoulder strap and keeps all that stuff together nicely. I also carry the 891 in a smaller backpack sometimes and can certainly make a lighter kit with it, but this version I didn’t intend to go light. 73!
