Hello, I am working on my masters project on development of wind turbine blade using composite. The composite is polyester reinforced plantain fiber. I have the flexural strength, tensile strength, impact strength, HRC, density and water absorption of the composite at the fiber volume fraction of 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, 0.9 respectively. I want to design wind turbine blade. Since I have the properties of the composite at different fiber volume fraction, What method am I going to use to determine the optimum mix of fiber and matrix that I am going to use for the design of wind turbine blade?

There are no rules for finding those. It's more of a trial and error process to choose those values. Most likely, you have some idea about those because you are an expert in that context of study. There are some optimization techniques to determine those. However, I have found them tedious than to start with a good guess. Play with the software by changing the numbers, you will get the answer quicker than you expect.
