    great video, but what about if you have 3 factors, does minitab show also a response surface here?

    Sir i have done the analysis in the same way for different data set. but analysis of variance table after error option the lack of fit option is missing sir. can you please help me sir

    how i incorporate qualitative factor instead of quantitative factor in full 3 factorial design using rsm??

    In the beginning when you select the Define response design nd then you selected the continuous factors, there is a option of coded and uncoded..what should I select? kindly help me because I am getting different results with coded and uncoded .

    Sir it's a absolutely nice presentation. Sir I have a doubt, I have 4 factors and each having 3 levels, which rsm design I can use in btw Box beigan and CCD ?

      I have some more materials on Response Surface here www.theopeneducator.com/doe/Response-Surface-Methodology. This should help answering your questions.

    Thanks for your video, I tried to reproduce this example in the trial version of minitab 19. The method is clear to me and I use exactly the same values (even for the axial points, I calculated them in Excel), however I get slightly different results. For example, my Adj SS for the model with 5 DF is 111.984 whereas yours is 109.077. Could this be an version issue, or some setting? Looking forward to your response!

      Are the comfort values integers, or are these decimal values?

    • @TheOpenEducator
      @TheOpenEducator  4 роки тому

      @@nicoblijham It's not. They are integers.

      Unlike ANOVA, regression sums of squares are a bit complicated. However, adjusted sum of square should be the same as long as you have the same model terms. You can send the Minitab file to email@theopeneducator.com . I can check it for you. I do have the Minitab 17 running. @@nicoblijham The analyses were performed using Minitab 17-version. You may get different results with other versions of Minitab. You have done everything correctly. I have double checked. I have got exact same results as yours. My best!
