Hello sir bumili po ako ng Router from Tp Link. Archer C64 po nabili ko balak ko po sana na cat6 ethernet cable yung gamitin ko para ma connect don sa main router na converge 200mbps po plan namin. Okay lang po ba?
Hi sir , i am using converge 200 mbps speed pag sa phone , since required po sa work ang lan cable using which is ethernet akala ko po malakas ang hina parin po kahit 200 mbps na yung plan na kinuha ko. Students cant hear me veey well very lag daw po ako kahit bago kang laptop ko. Hoping to hear your suggestions/recommendations. Thank you
Hi sir, yes definitely po mas better ang LAN cable over wifi as much as possible, 1 issue na pwede po is your internet service provider kahit naka 200mbps po kayo kung d stable si converge sa area nyo magkaka issue pa din po pag dating sa mga call or messenger.. pag via wifi po ba same lang issue? to check if stable si ISP, easiest way is ping test po.. open po kayo ng command prompt, then type ping google.com -t continous ping po sya, to check is walang request time out, kung putol putol po sya hindi maganda ung connection po..
Our plan is 200mbps and I'm using Cat5 only to connect my modem to my TV. Should I change it to CAT 5E or CAT6? Not sure if my TV is capable of using these cables. Same with my Tenda Router, but we will replace it with a TPLink M4 mesh soon (available on the new fiber plus plan) from PLDT.
If you have extra cat5e and above,use it. but if not the cat 5 would be okay, since smart tv's doest not actually need more than 100mbps, since 4k streaming contents are just around 25Mbps..

Ang concern ko ay durability ng flat and round alin and mas matibay pag dating sa outdoor use baka kasi pag nabagsakan ng bato or hollow blocks yung flat e sira na agad or may loko pinalo ng isang beses ng martilyo sana kaya mag survive
the best option would round na shielded mas matibay at durable compare sa flat.. for round may mga mura, while ung shielded mas mahal but pas protected sya..

usually sir wala na pong ibibilis when it comes to lan cable, just get a cat6 and up and okay na lahat, same lang ung speed na makukuha mo, ung iba build quality lang difference, and ung iba pure coffer, pero same lang din po magiging result..
if yung wifi repeater mo is capable of using lan cable as backhaul okay yan. For your question, ung wireless repeater mo ang speed na makukuha nyan using lan cable will be the same sa source, kaya kung nakukuha mo sa source is 200Mbps like from router or ap or switch, makukuha mo sa repeater mo on wired backhaul is around 200Mbps din. just make sure ung LAN port ng wifi repeater mo is also capable of gigabit or 1000Mbps lan port, kasi kung Fast ethernet lang or 100Mbps port yan max na makukuha mo is 100Mbps.
Hi, unfortunately hindi po, ung bigay ni ISP is modem router, yung modem ung pinaka need for internet connection, while yung mga available sa market like yung ax5400 is wifi router, ang trabahao nila is for better wifi performance, range, features etc.. need po pa din ung modem functionality ni converge modem router po..

Sir naka third party router po ako tenda ac23.. bale nkaconnect sya sa modem ng converge via WAN cat 7 vention lan cable . Pero sa 2 desktop ko po up to 95mbps lang nkkuha ko.. dapat po ba mgpalit dn ako cable from tenda lan port papunta sa mga desktop ko?
Hi sir, pwedeng issue ung lan mo going to laptop or pwede ding ung cat7 mo is not working propery, check mo ung lan speed na nakukuha mo sa desktop sir, sa network connection kung gigabit / 1Gbps ung lumalabas.. pag un ung lumalabas pwedeng issue lan cable from modem to tenda.. :)

So i have fiber optic internet but the install tech used a cat 5e cable into the router so should i just use another cat 5e from there to my PC?

cat5e would work just fine, but just get cat6 and above, for the brand i have not tested all brands, but Ugreen and Vention lan cable are great..
