Tethering and hotspot is typically the same, devices connect to a single device AP\Mobile phone.

a single floor difference would still be okay, but will still depend on the structure's construction.

I still have this monitor running since 2023, casual CS go and other steams games, and almost 24/7 turned on for photoshop and no issue at all.. :)

Hi, adding third party wifi router like the ax23 would help give better wifi signal and most of the time better speed compared from the stock wifi\modem outer by pldt. but the main issue could still be with your pldt line. You might be subscribed to 200Mbps but maybe on their backend it is configured only 100mbps, and also the modem router that they have provided might be only capable of maximum 100Mbps. just to make sure, connect a laptop or desktop via lan cable directly on their modem outer and do a speed test, if it is less than 100Mbps there could really be an issue with the modem outer or pldt.. :)

Hi, this kind of access point sir, really needs line of sight, not built sya na may harang na wall or ceiling. makakuha ka ng signal pero mag drop from time to time.. ang strength nito is long range lang talaga na line of sight.. :(

It depends po sa need mo, if balak mo lang talaga is wireless connection sa house okay naman na si x20, pero if need mo din mag connect ng mga devices via lan cable like tv pc or laptop, mas okay si x50 for the additional port. while for the x50 may hardware version 3 na kasi which may additional 1 antenna sa loob compare sa previous version nya, makakatulong sya pero hindi naman ganun kalaki, like 20 to 30 percent increase in wireless connection. if tight ang budget and malaki difference sa presyo ng dalawa, good na ung x20..

Kadadating lang po ng x50 ko today. sad to say, wala po pala siya "allow list/ whitelist" feature. ayun pa naman ang dhilan bakit nag upgrade po ako , pra sa mga unwanted connections. hnd n kasi kaya ng blocklist, nkaka connect prin gamit ibat ibang MAC address 😔 Sir, yung x20 nyo po ba meron whitelist/allow list?

@@michellecyrenemontillero2639 wala na sa akin both x50 and x20, un lang po, deny list lang meron si x50 which is yung mga mobile phone may option to change mac address kaya makaka connect pa din, if you are really after tplink na may whitelist blocklist archer series usually meron whitelist and blocklist like archer ax21\23

i was not able to test the maximum connection, but i have connected 15 devices including smart devices, and i have not encountered any issues with the connection.

for my personal recommendation, the ax53u or ax1800 is a good option for your mesh network.

Hi, medyo maraming pwede pong issue.. 1st try mo muna using laptop or desktop via lan cable,connect sa main modem outer mo po. then check if ma lag or mataas latency... if mataas problem is with the ISP itself, kaya kahit maganda ung router na i add mo wala pa din, kasi sa source yung problema.. then pag okay naman, using the new router, disable mo smart connect, separate 2.4 and 5ghz network, try to connect sa 5ghz.. :)

wala po by default, may mga 3rd party firmware na pwedeng gamitin to fully utilize ung mga feature, pero ma void yung warranty, and minsan may chance na ma brick yung unit during third party firmware upgrade.

I would go with the tuf ax4200, for it has better routing power if you have more devices, but if have less than 20 devices and do a lot of network activities like big file transfer over wifi the ax5400 would do best for you

being good for this device is subjective, comparing it to a mobile device-built in speaker, it is way better, but if you will compare it to other brands, like Harman Kardon mini esquire, it would not stand a chance, but the price difference is huge, the mp85 is around 10 dollars, while the esquire is around 100 dollars, so it will depend on your budget and your intended usage.
