I worked at Tesla starting in July of 2017 as an Operations Analyst out of the Bethlehem, PA distribution center facility and left as a Program Manager based out of Austin, TX as of September 2021. I spent most of my time in the distribution and supply chain organizations.
Before Tesla, I was a Director of Business Intelligence and Pricing at the largest Pet Food & Supply distributor in the US, Phillips Pet Food & Supplies based out of Easton, PA. My wife and I also owned a small business in Bethlehem, PA between 2016 and 2019.
I have been a shareholder of Tesla since 2012 and currently own Tesla stock. Nothing I say constitutes as investment or financial advice.

Incredible to see how crystal clear the vision for reusability was for Musk a decade and a half ago! We had no idea about Starship then but his roadmap was crystal clear then as it was for Tesla and his record for execution is unparalleled. Give the man the compensation plan 80% of shareholders approved in 2018, he is by far the best capital allocator the world has ever seen.

It's nice being reminded of what mutual respect between musk and a president looks like.... Both President Obama and President Trump showed respect and credit where it was due to Elon during their presidency unlike Biden who has repeatedly disrespected and blatantly ignored the achievements Elons companies have made.

Elon Musk is a genius and a technogod of all times a man this world needs and respect. He is not only the richest man on earth but a technology revolutionary in both land and space. His recent unbaised sentiments about BVR technology voting systems failure due to it's compromisable position due to emerging Al advanced technologies was a good advice in safeguarding political democratic elections across especially in countries that value democratic elections and it's my hope that the world leaders will give him their ears and support in order he and others with the knowledge of rectifying the anomaly to do so and make future elections credible

It's because when this was filmed in 2010, Elon was center-left or even mild left I'm not sure. Which since the President was a Democrat, that played well. And you can see Elon's leftist or purple viewpoint on politics when he didn't like Trump all that much during his Presidency.
However, since then, Elon has gone center right or even mild right after President Trump was shot yesterday. So for political reasons, Democrats don't like Elon Musk.
Tesla is THE ONLY automaker not represented by a union. Biden is and has always been pro union. So if you work in trades....Biden has always been for workers rights.
Well from Trumps side I only heard spilled lies about EVs all sucking bad and how he wants to drill for more oil while denying climate change and saying that people wont need to vote any more if he becomes president again... But for some reason seemingly Musk seems to be on his side now.

I, for one, really enjoyed seeing this. Space X continued to move forward and break barriers and it was wonderful to see Elon Musk able to have a constructive conversation with the president. The contrast to today’s lack of reasonable coverage in the media nor positive collaboration with the administration is sobering. Thanks for the video on the “good old days”.
What a President , what an entrepreneur and what an historic visit! This is why it is essential to have a youthful president. They understand the the life changing impacts of leading technologies and their visionary driver and entrepreneur like Musk. Dont forget this was still during the height of the global financial crises and SpaceX was yet to successfully launch the falcon let alone perfect reusability. But the Obama administration still believed in Musk dreams and possibilities to warrant a presidential visit. What an uplifting moment from Barack Obama.

For those of us with hearing issues, please lose the background music. It's a pleasant melody, but it makes it more difficult to hear some of the discussion clearly. Also, it isn't necessary for this kind of video. Facts should rule here, not aesthetics.

Obama fostered the mindset that set the stage for wokeness to take over the left though. Derrick Bell was one of his key mentors at Harvard law, the institution that could be considered as the epicenter of that movement. We definitely need a 3rd/4th party. More options, and each candidate should have to make commitments that we vote on, and if they don't stick to attempting those, they should get life in prison.

We need another young, sharp, committed, pragmatic President. I don't really care which party as there is effectively very little difference between them from a policy standpoint. The gerontocracy must end. It would be great if a third party is established that is actually representative of, and responsive to, the needs and concerns of most American citizens.

Reduced troops in Iraq. Halved unemployment figures. Most importantly, he provided stability so the news wasn't a continuous global level faux pas.

How did Elon go from loving and respecting Obama to disliking and disrespecting Biden so much?
It's because the democrat party has changed so much. They made an event for electric car companies and excluded Tesla while Tesla is prominent in the field. They used to be all about kindness, freedom and unity. Now they are the opposite of what they try to portray themselves as. It's sad. I used to support the Obamas till I found out the truth of what they've done. There's evil on both sides, but I cannot pretend that I did not see and hear how incompetent Biden and Kamala are. The fact that the party allows a man who is cognitively unfit to remain the president is a traitor act to this country and its people.
Biden don't like Tesla and SpaceX. He works for GM Ford and Boeing.
