Love that you mentioned venus being afflicted in Kaliyuga and Mars being accented. I am an artist and ever since I was a teenager I have said, this world is no place for artists and lovers.. it rewards those that take with brute force of which they are proud. It rewards workaholics, testosterone, people that are assertive, dominant and extraverted. So hard to be sensitive in these times. But thank God for those that are!

Ahh I just had to come back and comment on this... I was travelling to visit a friend of mine who’s like an enchanted pagan forest dwelling princess. She laid out a picnic for us on a bed of thick leaves, upon a middle eastern carpet. She carried bread, cheese, figs, olives (and more) in a wicker basket and brought cups and cider and incense. I was blown away.
I had a sneaking suspicion about where her Venus could be... take a guess!! Pisces! This girl also has Aries sun, libra ascendant and moon either in Taurus or Gemini. (More in great placements) Absolutely phenomenal person.
I also noticed interestingly the exaltation of her quiet, efficient and beautiful ways being somewhat wasted on - and not understood - in these Kaliyuga times.

I have debilitated venus in Hasta nakshatra in the 12th house. I am a libra Lagna native. I don't enjoy anything luxurious. I can't stand cars. Furthermore, I can barely differ any smells. People often help me and offer reasonably good things but I prefer not to take it because I don't think I deserve anything good. Only simple things for survival.
My mom has a strong exalted venus/ She is so opposite of me. She loves luxurious things. People like her. She offers me some of her luxurious expensive things and sincerely cannot understand why I do not differentiate between cheap and expensive things. She cares about her public image, like what kind of cloth she wears, whereas I don't care.
I might live a reasonably good life (I0 out of 25 years I lived abroad) but I'm still so disconnected from venus. I hold no standards and try to be as humble as possible. But this disconnection is so deep inside. The femininity has forgotten about my existence.

The ideal for any successful relationship is when you both have your Venus, Mars and Moon in the same element. If you have your Venus in Pisces, for instance,then seek out someone with their Venus in Pisces, Cancer, Scorpio, and if your Mars is in Virgo, then find someone with their Mars in Taurus, Virgo or Capricorn.
Not necessarily...water and earth actually work together in a more balanced way, if compared with a water-water combination. Too much of any element creates an imbalance. It is also worth mentioning that all planets constantly & proactively communicate/interact/ generate transformation to each other and to the subject/s, so you don't necessarily need a certain position, you need to have or be able to constantly create/recreate compatibility, as per your knowing in the present moment, keeping in mind that you never stay the same. And just like yourself and your relationships, the planets and astrology itself are living entities that coexist, they have a life of their own, and another one in collaboration with each other entity they create a connection with. Therefore it is safe to say that all dogmatic knowledge aught to be put under scrutiny at each point in time, cause it is mainly comprised of the strongest accumulated karma so far(habitual thinking, doing, being,at any level, be it personal, social, etc). Why do I say this? Cause otherwise(if it wouldn't be karma) it wouldn't be part of the culture, as per the definition of culture itself. Most old written or unwritten rules and principles that have transcended the ages do not necessarily apply in the general sense, maybe they do in particular cases, but norms are based in karma, and karma cannot survive in the light of awareness. Many religious people, astrologers and spiritualists in general exercise an utter belief in the old texts cause of the idea that back then people were capable, or more spiritual, or more inspired, or whatever else "more of". Actually..back then people simply had more time on their hands and the world looked a little bit different, but there is no doubt in any of the dimensions of my being that, just like nowadays, the most capable/intelligent/open minded people of the old times lived their lives constantly testing everything in the world around them. Searching for the best rules and systems and/or fighting about which one is best, was most likely for the doers, the Mars like thinkers, not for the Venusian ones. To me, it makes sense to think that the greatest scholars/teachers/masters of all times have always been(still are) those spending their lives trying to identify the basic principles that show up in each and every system(those points of intersection) so that they could test the knowledge, absorb all that is to be absorbed, and afterwards offer a basic theoretical principle to all people. They would offer not the dogma, not a rule, not a to do or to be list, but a basic theory, a theory meant to have people question things and find their own answers. This is all Venus also, and this is one reason why she is immortal, not only that she cannot die, but she (in all shapes/ forms she takes in this universe) can adapt/ create/ transform/ recreate in any environment, irrespective of time/yuga (=guru of the asuras, but also the greatest benefic, and best friends with the passing of time-Saturn). With Venus it is not what, when, or where, the true question is how to create and expand the love/beauty/creativity in all ways possible, whenever and in every direction. The proper calling for exalted/healthy Venus, especially when Ak, would be Rumi's words: "step out of the circle of time, and into the circle of love", whenever/wherever you are born. Do it simply because you can afford to, you are not bound to any particle of the universe, you are actually part of it's core, that which nature/the intelligence of the universe/God/whatever you want to call it needs to pass on to the next generation, as it constantly recreates itself. No matter the condition of Venus, different lives of different people are different versions of Venus experimenting different combinations(of dna), always going against the parents(Sun and Moon, previous generation) in various manners(depending on the condition of Venus in the chart), but always coming to life into the exact context that is needed for the evolution of all the entities/people involved, with the final goal always being the creation of love, harmony, balance. I think this process was no different in the old days, just that it was a few cycles back, and though on the surface things look alot alike nowadays, generally speaking(people still have 2 arms and 2 legs, cats see better than people in the dark, etc), they are not quite the same. Example: did you know that there's people on earth today who no longer develop wisdom teeth? You know, those buggers hurting like h😷ll and back, somewhere in between the ages of 15 and 30 something? I've asked dentists about it because I happen to be one of those people: how is that possible? They said the existence of those teeth was a matter of people needing to cut and chew meat properly. I think Venus holds the explanation for that answer: as a representation of the genetic code, Venus only passes on the attributes needed, and since the world is seriously considering physical sustenance without meat lately, people are starting to change their physiology to meet the new frame of reference. One of the main reason why many people, including astrologers, don't understand Venus is they forget the basics. Venus is immortal and it is the only one that can afford the luxury to exist in utter freedom, outside of the norms. It is protected by Saturn, the "feared beast", and exalted by Jupiter, the wise creator of the laws. But not even the wise and righteous Jupiter can constrain Venus, instead, it gives away all it's power to increase hers. Venus is the guru of the so called "demons", although she is not one of them. So she can make anyone love and support her, irrespective of their nature, and even in times of trouble, like war, she cannot lose. She is timeless, since immortal, so there is no yuga that she isn't aware of/familiarised with, and since she is a master of creation, sustenance and regeneration, as well as intelligent, open minded and versed in matters of relationships, I don't see how she could possibly be taken by surprise by any challenge at any point in time. I also cannot begin to understand how Venus can be bad for any ascendant. I mean I hear and see the logic and the dogma working pretty well together, but Venus does not comply, she doesn't need to and it wouldn't be for the sake of anybody and/or anything to do so. Because Venus is so complex and timeless, logic and reason alone (Mars and Mercury) cannot explain how Venus operates. Anyway, I could go on forever, but the basic idea i would like to leave here for anybody to consider, is that if karma is based in habit, culture is also based in habit, and dogma stands at the core of culture altogether, an aware individual might benefit greatly from questioning and personally testing and filtering everything, before adopting and reinforcing it's existence within their personal space(be it mental, spiritual or physical). A last thought would be this: trust your Venus, know your Venus, work with your Venus, especially if you feel like you don't belong in this "egomaniacal yuga"👀🙈😬...What you feel is not a curse, it is the starting point, a brand new beginning, it's where you choose to make the jump: "out of the circle of time, and into the circle of love". This is the superpower of Venus, she can teach you how to transcend any and all limitations, if only you allow her. Best wishes for all!🙏❤

I wonder about the debilitated Venus conjunct ketu would be would like you said, not enjoying parties unless they are the party Causer or the center of the party.
So I could imagine like a person who may just pop up and start playing an instrument somewhere in public and would enjoy how people stop their day-to-day and start enjoying their skills
I actually know such people, but you cannot generalise much. The house placement and the whole combo in the chart matter. Ketu and Venus will create a loner, not necessarily one that wants attention. A fairly healthy Venus conjunct Ketu will most likely create a balanced person that keeps to themselves, a pleasant loner, kind of like Ketu in Libra, whenever Venus is decently placed. People with Ketu Venus combo can be very soothing and unassuming when Venus is healthy. Seeking attention is possible indeed, but more like a paradoxical trait, attention seeker and loner at the same time, depending on the mood, the kind of person who is actually craving for any kind of venusian energy, because they are unable to create a constant flow of love, beauty and regeneration in their lives. It is possible in certain circumstances, like when Venus is the ascendant lord, debilitated in the 12th, conj Ketu(Libra ascendant). It must be debilitated, not just weak, and somewhere in the 12th, for the person to not be aware of it. But even then other factors must be seen, cause i've encountered people who have other strong positions along with this one, and it plays out in a very different manner. When there are other strong sign placements..let's say Mars and Sun together in Scorpio for the same Libra ascendant, Jupiter in Sagittarius, Saturn in Capricorn, you, as a bystander, will never see the paradoxical side. Such a person will be perfectly able to keep that attention seeking/deeply hurt&frustrated/loner side to themselves. The only thing that can bring it to the surface, for the subject to become aware of it and break the pain, is personal relationships, or better said bad decisions/ situation in personal relationships. I've actually seen it: a bad marriage, a child who is the utter opposite(exalted Venus or Venus in it's own sign, or even in Cancer). This cannot be seen from the outside though, their social life is in perfect order, and a Libra with such placements is perfectly able to have all the highs in social life and and all the luxurious things, but what about truly enjoying it? I think that is the important question.

I feel like you are definitely thinking like an astrologer that where and how is the question. Great examples. I know 3 people off hand personally that have this Venus conjunct Ketu. And I personally have Ketu in Libra with a decently placed Venus.😅 Oh the stars are playing games aren't they.
Also my 3 siblings are Libra natives. We are all that nature like you mentioned. Very comfortable with not being in the limelight or being in scene. If we are it's usually due to something not directly related to getting attention nor excited by "the scene" or event.
For example my older brother has venus conjunct ketu. His wife is an event planner and their home is pretty nice(compared to mine😅) and often open their home for holidays or celebrations cause it's big and nice. My brother does appreciate his nice home and having people over but often feels like he's in the background or outside cooking or never even "dressed up" for the event. He also keeps a beard, this element would for some feel likes it hides his attractive facial features and can even make him look intimidating but he says it gets a lot of attention from men and women.

Spot on about not saying nice things with a bad venus. My dad has a debilitated venus in virgo in the 7th and he'll say all the wrong things to my mom and my mother to him🤦♀️. Their relationship is a conutionus battle.

1) You touched on this in the Mercury video. In a recent conversation we were discussing what ut means to be a friend and one person had expectations and standards comparable to a partner ship. How does mercury and venus define friendship?
2) Does venus want to lose self identity in its indications or rather retain that individualness so that it can enjoy uniting as an individual? If that makes sense.
Venus is a positive planet. It does not seek annihilation of anything. Only negative planets inspire nihilism. Venus finds its identity as the delighter, nourisher, enhancer of its beloved.
Mercury's sense of friendship is equality. Venus' sense of friendship is a paradox of self-importance in submission. It values and respects itself as the ideal offering to the beloved.

I can agree that Vic lacks patience and that it was insensitive or politically incorrect to use an accent in his response. However if you were him doing 2 live videos each and every week, each time outlining what questions are appropriate, I wonder how would you handle that? When or if he simply ignores people, they get offended and repeatedly ask their question. Which can be distracting, frustrating and upsetting for other participants.
I wonder is not ignoring people arrogant and offensive too? I thought the accent was funny but then I’m a kiwi who lives in Australia my accent gets mocked and butchered constantly. I am sorry this disturbed you, but I cannot edit my behavior to suit everyone's sensitivities. You, however, can try to get over yourself - as you only have yourself to work on. If you feel fit to criticize a teacher, you are not fit to be a student. If you take everything as an insult, your ego is too delicate and cannot be educated. I actually explained why I often revert to my Indian accent. You cannot claim that you have come to learn something, but then criticize some behavior that offends your ego and ahamkaric identity. I can and will always react the way i can and will react. Women are in danger because MEN PUT THEM THERE. MEN need to change, NOT WOMEN. The way you phrased it made it seem that women deserve to be in danger because they are not as strong.
