i envy you both , crabcakes every week! when we get down there in late august we will certainly try this place and others you all have recommended , thanks
Thanks for the review. Those crab cakes look really good! When we eat dinner there I usually order the Prime Rib Mediterranean, It's probably my favorite dish in all of Ocean City.
Thanks man!...I have been to Harpoon Hanna's to sip a few drinks in the past but don't remember ever eating there...im gonna have to try those Crabcakes!!!!
I had the crabcake sandwich there, too, last year. Agreed, they do it well. Lots of lump, not alot of filler/binder and good flavor. Thanks Jay. Now you got me thinking about them again...
Think u for the crab cakes and I just get home for fishing and I just catch a smallmouth bass today and I.m put a little video on my UA-cam right now with the smell mouth bass on that
Have you tried the crab cakes from Bad Monkey in West O? My son got them the other day and I had a few bites and was pretty impressed - nice lump and a good flavor - no filler.. worth checking out
Hey! I’m going to this years OC Airshow and have bought my drop zone tickets for me, my family, and friends. We have a house out in delaware an hour from Ocean City and wondering how traffic is like and how early should we leave to get to the Drop Zone entrance before 9AM? We’re going to be taking the West OC Park & Ride shuttle bus that morning.
Well...I hate to be a downer....but that's probably one of the worst days to drive in OC. But, taking the park and ride is the smartest idea since parking is impossible or very expensive. I would say 6:30am would be fine. That allows time for traffic & the bus to get to the inlet (they block it off for regular traffic). Most of the traffic is in OC, not west OC. Plus the show doesn't start until I think 11?
@@ReelJayB Yeah it starts at 11:30. We’re thinking about leaving Delaware at 6:00AM to get there between 7-7:30AM to be able to find parking at the west park oc ride.
@@asymmetricthrust123 that would work too. Like I said, west oc isn't a problem, OC is absolutely horrible. The only places available to park last year were charging $100!
We have gone every year to air show 2015-2022 this year we are gonna miss the show but if you get there early enough like before 8-9 am we parked in the church parking lot on 17th street and it was 20-30 bucks other places wanted 50 or more.
@@ReelJayB We went to the air show 2015-2022 and parked in the church parking lot on 17th street it was 30-40 dollars last time other wanted 50 to 100 bucks but you need to get there early it fills up fast.I would say before 9 am then we walked and got some breakfast then got a good spot on the beach for the show.
Hot Dang! Judging by your reactions that looked quite tasty. Bad thing is every time I watch these reviews for a good crabcake no matter what time of day I find myself gravitating towards the freezer to toss a Gorton's fish filet in the air fryer to at least get a taste of seafood, and now this time dangit I got to do a fish fillet and a jack and coke because it was accompanied with a box of booze in the background. 🤣😂🤣Great job guys thanks for taking us along. See Ya's next video.
Hahahahaha thanks Chris! We were both pretty shocked on this one. I definitely wasn't expecting a crab cake as good as what we got! Well worth it for sure!
We went there last summer for dinner. The tiki bar on the water is great, but otherwise I was not at all impressed. Maybe they were short-staffed due to the plandemic or whatever. Maybe I'll try again someday. I'm usually willing to give second chances with restaurants. Thanks for the review!!!
@@ReelJayB thanks, Jay! We ate at (I think it's called) Blu last summer also. We liked it much better. It's on one of the canals. Great view too, especially at sunset!
I got a crab cake burger from big peckers.....the crab cake was horrible. Burger was great tho. The cake tasted like a seafood or like a fishy taste. Im not a pro tho lol yins should try it out so i know if im crazy or not haha
I was in Ocean City Maryland just this past week and the price of local crab i was told by a person who would no is currently 42 dollars per pound. Needless to say crab cakes were extremely expensive in the area. On average at the Resteraunt’s there they were selling them for about 30 to 35 dollars per cab cake depending on the Resteraunt ... and a few were over 40$ per CC. Because they were so expensive I didn’t have that many of them during my time there.
Wow! I haven't heard anything about the high prices, I'll have to ask before we go because $30+ is very high. A few years ago a pound of meat was $60! That's the highest I ever saw it. Hope you had a fun time here, the weather was amazing!
Yeah it is!!! Its our winter spot, we LOVE going there in the winter...they have the big fireplace going, looking out over the water, eating prime rib! Can't beat it!
Yeah, every year they have "Best Of" and it has a ton of different categories. For some reason, they won best crab cake. It still blows my mind because the majority we had were better than theirs. Here's other winners: www.oceancity.com/best-of-ocean-city/
We go to a place in Berlin that we found is the cheapest. It's off Rt 50. I heard the DE stores inflate the prices to stay up with MD prices, not sure how true that is though.
Love all your videos! We plan our trips based on your reviews of places. Thank you for making these.
Thanks Cory! Really appreciate that!!!
Thanks for the review! We have not been there is a while, so we may need to plan for it this year.
You guys are making us hungrier every video thanks brother 🇺🇸🇺🇸👍 have a great week
Thanks Tim! Enjoy the rest of your week!

That's a good reaction! Def worth the money? yum. putting this one on my list! Thanks! and your wife is so beautiful!!!

Those coconut muffins are to die for. Also the raisin bread!

I had the crabcake sandwich there, too, last year. Agreed, they do it well. Lots of lump, not alot of filler/binder and good flavor.
Thanks Jay. Now you got me thinking about them again...
That flavor was on point. We were both not expecting it to be as good as it was. Real happy we did this one!
I’m gonna make my comment before I watch the video harpoon Hanna’s one of our favorite places
It's our favorite winter spot. Sitting inside, fireplace going, watching the water outside....and the half price prime rib! Can't beat it!

it is a great place- went there for a late lunch sat out on the patio- - We drove out Rt 54 theres a couple other places I like to try-
If u look it up it's on the line some houses are actually in md and Delaware
Any idea when their "winter" prices end (prime rib)? Now I'm hungry.
I can't remember the winter price, but I think a big piece of prime rib is about $20. It's amazing!
@@ReelJayB Fagers also has a off season prime rib night weekly!
@@fishbowl7098 Fagers is my gather in laws new favorite place form prime rib.
So in most of the reviews was the crab cake fried or broiled ?
We do them broiled unless they only come fried, which we haven't seen yet. There was 1 restaurant here that only offered them fried, but they closed.
@@ReelJayB Got it thanks
Love Crab Bag on 130th street!
We have that one on the list, can't wait to try it!
They also have $14.99 carb cake dinners in the off season . Their crab cakes our really good. Thanks Jay
$14.99 is an awesome deal!

Prime rib and crab imperial have been their specialties for decades!
