When I was a kid my grandma had a beach house in Fenwick Island, My siblings and I went every summer with our cousins. But had to stop when my Step dad and mom split up. 25 years later My sister reconnected with our cousins and we've been going back every summer for the last 6 years. Sandly my sister passed 3 years ago and we put her ashes out to sea in Fenwick, we haven't been back since then. My niece (my sisters daughter) called me a few months ago asking to go back and we couldn't say no. But this will be the last trip for us. One last good bye to my sister. Thank you for the video helps me remember all the fun memories!
@@RichPrice_livebyoc They're on the left driving west on 54 a little past Harpoon Hanna's across the bridge. I don't recall a cluster of restaurants there, but there may be others. My sister moved to The Estuary in Dec.2023 and has been trying locale places to eat and such. One can eat inside, or there is an outside deck with multicolored picnic tables that overlook the bay and one can watch an Osprey nest as well.
We go down to OC MD twice a year and always shop at the country store . Best fudge around. Like the hardware store on left side of the road as you travel out of Fenwick. Eat all of our meals out and have to check out some of their restaurants. Nice clean & very quiet town.
Thanks John! Fenwick Hardware is huge and I'm always surprise of how much stuff they have in there. Try Our Harvest in Fenwick if you haven't already. That's my top restaurant in the area right now I think. They have a Rockfish entree for two that is amazing.💯
@@RichPrice_livebyoc Hope they are still open when we visit Thanksgiving Week. Know over halve the restaurants are closed off season and some only open Wednesday to Sunday. Wife always comes home with over a #125 in fudge, salt water taffies and other candy for grandkids &;some neighbors. My son & the grandkids are down in OC this week using one of my time share weeks at Coconut Mallorie. We usually make a trip up to the Rehoboth outlets and enjoy the ride on Coastal highway.
@@JohnThomas-lq5qp That’s a good question! Seems it changes every year with most restaurants. My wife and I did have dinner there in February of this year so hopefully they will stay open all year.
@@RichPrice_livebyoco comparison needed. It is overpriced for itself and what it has to offer. Fenwick Island used to be a quiet, cheap beach town, but like all of them, became outrageous in the last 10 years - rentals and food have skyrocketed in cost. It'd be nice for one beach town to be left for the middle class to enjoy for affordable pricing but I guess that's not allowed anymore...don't want to have to rub elbows with "the poors."
Fenwick Island De is not overpriced. Or no more so than any other vacation town at the beach. There are great places to eat that are reasonably priced. Remember this place is only viable 4 months each year.
Let me know some of your favorite spots in Fenwick Island in the comments here. Thanks for watching!

Thank you for sharing and glad the video brought back some fun memories!
Been going to the Fenwick 🦀 House since 1965. Jimmy's is good too! Twilley Willy has great hot dogs.
All great places! ❤️
Try Captain’s Mac’s Fish House. It’s on Rt 54. Great food and view of the bay.
Thanks Bob! Haven’t tried them yet. Are they right by that cluster of restaurants where Lobster Shanty and Crab Cake Factory are?

At 5:19 on the left, you pass the greatest food I've ever had at Warren's Station, affordable and soooo good
Get a better view at 5:14
Thanks Lee! I haven’t stopped in there yet but need to check it out. I know they have been there a long time. 💯
