Actually you guys wanna know what I miss the MOST???.. lol the 3 and 4 hour Christmas lives with Ben and Kurt showing off tons of knives and ppl ordering them pizza on live TV.....ahhhh to the good ole days....
So proud of Ben, Zack and the Blade HQ staff. You guys revolutionized the knife talk in entertainment, and gave us knife people content that we get to enjoy as shows, instead of the previous knife ads or independent reviews trend. Even Knifecenter's show with Dave Anderson feels inspired by what KnifeHQ had started and masters. Such a great time to be a knife lover!
Ben nailed the transition issue and aptly addressed the crew changes. Each BladeHQ review crew brings their own “flavor” to knife reviews. New BladeHQ crews deserve the opportunity to add their own spin on knife content. Imagine what we all would have missed out on if Ben, Zac, Kurt, Dallas, and countless others around them at BladeHQ had been denied the opportunity to bring us joyous knife content as well. With those great memories in mind, many of us wish George, the rest of the knife banter crew, Blade HQ and all of its staff nothing but the best. P.S. To Ben, the solution to a messy garage is a garage burrito 😊. Kidding aside, I couldn’t build one myself. So, I brought a closet organizer’s design skills to the challenge. Storage/workspace design is the key to overcoming that never-ending challenge.
@@Leftyotism I tried that, but the clutter came back with a vengeance as though the Tasmanian Devil paid me a visit. 😏 Unfortunately, most garages serve as storage dumping grounds. That’s why I resorted to the “out of sight, out of mind” approach. The mess is still there, but it’s largely compartmentalized and better organized. Absent storage cabinets, everything just piled up.
LOVE THIS VIDEO! George is great as always, and so good to see Ben again; great conversation, both informative and fun. Hope to see this again when Ben has his new info ready =)
Ben is the "Lamborghini" of the knife world. In that Lamborghini had a Ferrari, but it wasn't working for him and Ferrari didn't listen to him, so he went and made his own cars. 🤣
I agree with Ben. I’m glad to see him back on BHQ even if it’s for a guest spot. I miss Zac, Kurt and Dallas, but things change and I’ll watch. If I’m not into it, I don’t find things I don’t like, but I admit I don’t critique or look for improvements either. I just watch and lurk 😂
Fun video!! Excited to get my Lander today! Was fun to have the history and walk thru of the knives and steel. Ben will now live in the studio forever!! Would love to see more of the adventure videos, knife in the great salt lake, camping etc. Keep it rolling!! #DSKFS
Ordered two landers the other day. I’m relatively new to the knife world but Ben seems like a fantastic designer and person in general. Inspires me to be better everyday
Hey. Ben , I need a burrito. I'm very involved with knafsale. Eric is Awesome..love swapping scales, the Lander is great..wish it came in 14c28. I know you hear that every day. Thanks for all your hard work !
I saw a very positive independent review of the Knafs Lander and then found this video. Seeing great reviews and then finding out Ben is behind it made me pause this video and immediately order one. Should be here in a couple of days, and I'm excited to try out a new EDC that is so geared towards personalization. Love the concept already!
i just got my banter like yesterday, i got the black g10 and omg im loving it. i might have to buy all of your designs since my hands are kinda small and the fit and finish is beautifully suited to me and my needs!!!! love the work youve done!
I want the tool burrito! I was literally just thinking about how I wish I had a better set up for knife maintenance the other day! That’s everything I need in a neat little wrap!
We all obviously know and love ben but I gotta put some respect on George's name. He's killing it and is and absolute breath of fresh air on this channel!
The Lander hits the nail on the head for what I’ve started calling “social carry” knives. That’s the exact opposite of a tactical knife. Its design language makes it as inoffensive as possible. No need to make strangers feel threatened just because you’re trying to do some quick task.
I usually tend to carry a gentleman style knife i definitely understand what your saying. I've had people freak when I pull out a full auto tactical blade, just to cut a box open 😆
"Social carry" is a niche I like - modern and classy, non tactical, not ugly, not as fancy or costly as a full on gents knife. Then again, I had a coworker call my Leatherman Micra a weapon.
Maybe Ben needs more space to put things in his garage. But good thing he didn't, because now we got the Tool-Bourito. I think it's excellent for keeping your Knaf toolkit always near you. Also great for on the run, I mean for traveling! 🥰
Please bring back the weekly new knives episode. The content writes itself, and we all like to hear about the new cool stuff. Mix up starter knives, high end and custom knives, and just weird random things. Maybe have very popuiar drops (Demko AD20's, Koenig Ariuses, etc... Brian Brown Yeagers) annnounced live at the end of those. Make it fun and ALSO an event.
"Top"-Flippers are the greatest! The lighter-thumb-flick is just too satisfying! And I say that while I am sitting here with my BHQ Exclusive Böker LRF Brass! * flippety-flipp * (Got my hands on the last one in Bökers own stock a few months ago haha! After that it said sold out. Lucky me! 😁) Side note: I think I have figured out what LRF means! 😱 I think it means Lateral Range Function, due to its great allrounder-blade-shape. Oh goodness, I love it! 🥰
I have a Terminus and the clip is too deep i agree 😅 Ben your products are awesome, you totally understand knife guys! Your banter is awesome, drop your lander in france quickly i need one!!!
This is great! BladeHQ honoring one of their own. I can’t wait to put my order in for the lander. I love that I can print the CAD and make the scales uniquely my own. Let’s goooo!!
@@BladeHQ like you guys mentioned earlier, ultem is pretty hot in the streets. Going to find a manufacturer to see if they could do it for me. Hideo Kojima inspired design.
New to the knife world but Ben has to be one of the most likable people out there. Iv been eying the banter. Anybody with both the mini and full size that can confirm there are the same just size differences ?
Love seeing Ben back. So proud of his success.
We are too! Hopefully we won't wait 3 more years to get together again! -George

That Christmas sale video was so epic.
Nice profile picture dude.
That was awesome..pizza was delivered

I didn't realize that Ben was behind the Banter. It's not a knife for me but I feel like it's been successful. Great for him.
Check out some Knafs then! 🥲
What iiiiiissssss up Ben?! Great stuff coming from Knafs lately!
Best intro to a BHQ video in some time. This was a joy to watch start to finish.
Oh Ben my, my sweet boy, it is so good to see your face again

I think the solution to a messy garage is cleaning it up and having order ab chao. ☺
Well said!

Thanks for the shoutout George! You are the legend! Good times! 🔪 🐓
I really liked that Blade HQ put out a video very worth watching after Ben and Zac moved on. Ready to spend some coin on some new designs.
It feels like ben went away for college, and absolutely flourished. So proud of what he's done, and can't wait to see what he continues to do.
That's such a good way to look at it. Thanks for the support, Elliot! Also: your profile pic is fantastic. Nice rooster tail!
I must say I watched the whole video. That's rare for me. Great behind the scenes stuff, love the Lander, keep it up!

I also miss Zac and Kurt and even Dallas. These new guys are not doing it for me. Guess I'll watch DCA over at Knife Center!
Same, I don't think I've been able to sit through a whole episode. George knows his knives but just isn't comfortable on camera.
Just ordered a Lander and I’m very happy for ya Ben.
Great to see Ben.
You two make a great team, we need more...!

a black D2 steel blade with white grips?! CANNOT WAIT! 😍😍 loving my double black baby banter for sure
It was nice to see Ben again. I love the Banter and the posters. I also love knife packaging, it's so fun when companies do cool knife packaging
