Some info:
* Their mom-son relationship is purely headcanon from the fandom.
* Kazuha doesn't have canon age, but he's probably "drinking-age young adult" rather than a teenager.
"Proofs" he's a minor: he's short and was called "young" (the Chinese term didn't specify underage).
On the other hand: he's mature with high education and years of training, travels alone, and drinks a lot.
Also when Venti asks for alcohol on the ship claiming he's old enough to drink, but just looks young: Kazuha implies he's in the same situation.
And another important fact almost EVERYONE SEEMS TO FORGET OT NOT REALIZE:
The world of Genshin Impact is not a modern day 21st century setting with modern day 21st century ideas or standards. In short: even if Kazuha is at best; 16 or 17 years old, sure is technically a minor. But by his age and experiences he is already mature enough to not only drink alcohol, but also be ina romantic relationship with an adult woman such as Beidou.
Yes, I do also ship Kazuha and Beidou too. I mean I do believe the reason why the Inazuma update took long to release and why Beidou was a non-character before Inazuma becd a thing. Was because Kazuha and Beidou were busy spending time and making love like rabbits in the ship.

In USA is at 21.
At Mexico is 18.
Belgium, Denmark and Germany set 16 years as the minimum age.
In fact that Juza call him as Kaedehara Kid and the other Crux Crew knows if he's still a teen or underage in the eye of the crew
Also he only drink alcohol twice, when he's still 6 years old that he drink his father's wine when he thinks it's a grape juice and when Venti put a shot of wine on his juice
Also in Summertime Odyssey quest it's explained chronologicaly if the timeline span between the current time event and Kazuha's childhood is 10 years away

@@vinmulf171 It's literally mentioned in his quest in an Elegantly-Written Note that's written by Kageharu or Kazuha's father if at that time Kazuha just turned 6 on their vision and visits into Kazuha's childhood memories

Well sayu can use a claymore after getting a vision so i assume kazuha was using anemo to help lift beidou or having an anemo vision just makes you stronger

Every damn time i hear "Kazuha is a kid!" lol kazuha is not a minor, he is probably an adult - at early twenties and most japanese men's typical height are like in the 5 foot category. This short m / tall f pairing is fine lol,anyways just ship characters however you like(as long as the other is "really" a minor, then DON'T) and yes ignore the haters, block em if they start bullying/sending threats.

@@Kj4ever-g5n They don't have a mother-son relationship, though. Kazuha's about the same age as both Aether and Lumine and they're shipped with a lot of the older characters all the time.
If anything, I'd argue that Kazuha and Beidou have more of a senpai-kouhai relationship.

I feel like there's a double standard within the fandom. People have no problem shipping Aether or Lumine with Beidou, yet are having a problem with Kazuha and Beidou dating? He looks around the same age as both of them, it's perfectly fine.

For those that does not know Kazuha can't drink because he is underage (at least in Liyue). If you go to visit him and Venti in Beidou's ship he will tell you that Beidou does not allow him to drink nor to be near alcohol. (Go talk to them before the lantern rite ends).

@@diawaterfalls also in Summertime Odyssey quest on Kazuha's childhood memories part the gap between the Kazuha's childhood memories and current time is about 10 years away based on some Kazuha's explanation when he found his father's old letter, and his childhood memories is taking time when he's still 6 years old
Actually if you want to know the full chronology from every part information about his lore is like this
Kazuha's childhood memories + the downfall of Kaedehara Clan (6 years old Kazuha)
Kazuha being nurtured by his last servant who later knows as his friend who ded in hand of Raiden Shogun, after the downfall of Kaedehara Clan, the young Kazuha decide to dismiss his last servant but he still let him to be with Kazuha, and just consider him as a friend and not as servant, and Kazuha was live and taken care by his friend for about 6 years (6 years old Kazuha - 12 years old Kazuha)
Kazuha's friend decide to challenge Raiden Shogun and fight against Kujou Sara before finally he lost and executed by Raiden Shogun and because of that Kazuha becomes all alone and decide to be a ronin and run from Inazuma City to escape from Shoguns Army who after him, he decide to wanders throughout Inazuma for about 2 or 4 years before finally he meet Beidou and the Crux in Ritou and Beidou decide to add him as her new crew (12 years old Kazuha - 14-16 years old Kazuha, but since the quest giving clue if every characters childhood memories that appears is from 10 years ago, we can say if Kazuha is already 16 years old when he meet Beidou since the continuity time gap of the quest in the game is not same and too long as the real life one, but if we want to equalize it we can consider it if Kazuha is still 14 when meet Beidou and since Genshin Impact is already 2 years since its first release, we can say if Kazuha this year is 16 years old and will turn 17 this year too, since the time when Kazuha first meeting with Beidou also not too long before the game started or about months ago before our game started)
