BTD6 Advanced Challenge | What Pops DDTs? | June 16, 2024

I think the trick here is that carrier flagship recently got its DARTS damage type changed from normal to sharp, making the darts unable to pop lead and therefore DDTs, BUT what is still able to pop DDTs apparently is the Moab missiles from the carrier flagships' aces, which I honestly did not know about.
So now, the 5-0-2 carrier flagship is at this awkward spot where it can pop DDTs still (not as efficiently as before obviously), but it cannot pop normal lead bloons 😅

it's similar to how 0-2-5 ace can hit camo leads but not ddts

@@ThatGuyThomas I'm pretty sure the x-x-5 ace has normal type damage on all its projectiles, meaning it can pop all bloon types with all projectiles. I'm saying that because there are a few simultaneous 2 TCs and 2M pops strategies using the x-x-5 ace, with it being basically the only damage dealer more or less, and it shreds DDTs.
What you're right about though is the x-x-4 ace, the Spectre. The darts of the spectre can't pop leads, hence DDTs, and the bombs/missles of the spectre can pop leads but can't pop black bloons, hence DDTs.

Yeah, but DDTs are also lead, and normally, you need the x2x crosspath for the Boat to pop leads

they got me good, I specifically looked at carrier flagship several times and said "No that won't work, they recently changed the damage from normal to sharp." I didn't even think about the fact that the missiles were still normal damage.

I was trying and failing with the top path druid. I though that with the correct placing, that it was the right answer. I spent a whole hour to no avail, didn't think to use the carrier, thanks Ethan!

Its weird i did it first try with the same strat then tried it again because it looked close and then it failed??? Glad I got it first try but still.And then it worked fine the third time lol.
