This made me realize that I kind of liked the bloons not going in a completely straight line in the early bloons games. Makes it look more like an aggregation of, you know, a lot of balloons
BTD3 was the reason I loved staying in the afterschool program waiting for my parents to pick me up. Absolutely core memory in everyway. BTD5 was the first, EVER, app that I spent money on in mobile. That was followed by BTD6 One of the best series of games ever developed, and I love every second of it.

A part of me wish I was there when bt6 was first announced and to see the reactions of everyone, but another part of me is just as glad to expirence half way through

@@Matick125 I mean sure they ended up becoming powers but they weren’t originally, they could be bought with normal cash and are therefore eligible for chimps mode. Maybe if an equivalent of chimps for earlier games was made it would ban them, but that’s a different challenge than chimps mode
I don't know why but I find chimps the easiest. Not having to worry about income simplifies things a lot. I use corvus though, I just put a good tower down then buff it instead of adding different towers. Corvus takes care of the rest, he makes round 40 a guarantee as long as he has mana, he can solo that round. He can take care of every bloon type as well with the right spell combos. The top path glue gunner is great with camo detection, destroys crowds of anything and buffed he has huge range. Works for me.

I think it was 2016 I saw someone beat Hard on BTD2 with no Tacks, no Glue AND no lives lost. HIGH RNG early rounds as you need Cannon start. So it is possible (I can't remember if they did no selling)
you forgot btd5 steam and mobile have impoppable mode where moabs have double hp ceramics have 1.5x hp towers are even more expensive bloons and moabs are even faster and finally round 85 has 5 zomgs instead of 1

CHIMPS doesn't really work for Battles 2. If the objective is to not gain any extra eco, then you're stuck without sending any Bloons which would also pressure the opponent (who likely isn't doing the same rules unless with prior communication).

Its really nice to see the evolution of these games. Btd6 is best and most fun atleast for me but its nice to go back to btd4 & 5 every now and then

glue in btd2 is overpowered. It’s so important for hard mode because it allows y9ur towers to focus on one track at a time.
