Elvis tells it like it is. Gosh, what a beautiful man with the perfect voice. Just the right amount of bravado. This is what keeps me listening to him. Still the King in 2024 ! Wish he were still with us.
Elvis was and is the best singer in the world. He could sing everything from gospel, rock and roll to blues and soul. He had such great charisma and could move well. I think he would still be a big star even today. It's a shame he didn't give live concerts around the world back then.
Can you imagine... you get the opportunity to be in an Elvis movie at the time, you do work so hard to get to that position- you are around the heartthrob of that era, and the set director hands you a hat with a daisy sticking out of it....
I have loved ELVIS all my life! He is a gift from GOD.. THANK YOU FATHER FOR ELVIS AND HIS FAMILY,, BLESS THEM AND WRAP THEM IN THE BLANKET OF HEAVEN IN JESUS HOLY NAME!
When I was a little girl,I was totally obsessed with how gorgeous he was,I loved my Elvis movies, any thing with him in it.I guess it's because we share the same birthday 8th of January
I think Elvis lived singing this song it's like he was sending out a message don't worry about what I'm doing just worry about what your doing love the part when it comes to you tend to your buisnes and I'll tend to mine his voice is stunning
This was a quality film. A great ensemble cast, entertaining music, and good acting by everyone. Col. Parker ruined it by changing the name from "Chautauqua" to the ridiculous title "The Trouble With Girls (And How To Get Into It)". One look at the title and most people who might have gone to see it felt "been there, done that, got the tee-shirt." Parker absolutely destroyed this enjoyable and humorous film about Chautauqua troupes in the early 20th century.
The name of film “The Trouble With Girls” has nothing to do with movie plot Elvis manages a traveling show in 1920s, there’s a murder, member of his troupe blamed, but Elvis promises the sheriffs that someone else wants to confess. They’re delayed so Elvis has to keep repeating acts, and even does this song with one of groups to stall some more. Song is provocative, while Elvis is smiling, sheriffs looked increasingly ticked off. Love this scene. And Elvis is actually enjoying the film-one of last after ‘68 Comeback Special recorded. Gorgeous
Great performance. A UK No.21 hit for The King in September 1969. I noticed a rather annoying continuity error, where the woman in the red dress keeps changing her position behind Elvis a few times.
The great majority of his movie songs were the dubbed studio versions and depending on the scene from the movie you can hear the instruments playing but they can’t be seen.
Back porch preacher preaching at me Acting like he wrote the golden rules Shaking his fist and speeching at me Shouting from his soap box like a fool Come Sunday morning he's lying in bed With his eye all red, with the wine in his head Wishing he was dead when he oughta be Heading for Sunday school Clean up your own backyard Oh don't you hand me none of your lines Clean up your own backyard You tend to your business, I'll tend to mine Drugstore cowboy criticizing Acting like he's better than you and me Standing on the sidewalk supervising Telling everybody how they ought to be Come closing time 'most every night He locks up tight and out go the lights And he ducks out of sight and he cheats on his wife With his employee Clean up your own backyard Oh don't you hand me none of your lines Clean up your own backyard You tend to your business, I'll tend to mine Armchair quarterback's always moanin' Second guessing people all day long Pushing, fooling and hanging on in Always messing where they don't belong When you get right down to the nitty-gritty Isn't it a pity that in this big city Not a one a'little bitty man'll admit He could have been a little bit wrong Clean up your own backyard Oh don't you hand me, don't you hand me none of your lines Clean up your own backyard You tend to your business, I'll tend to mine Clean up your own backyard You tend to your business, I'll tend to mine

Preacher like that are fools!!!! I met Jim Jones.....not the one everybody knows. But,a smaller scale of him but not to worry i didn't the Kool-Aide!!!!
a great song and one of Elvis' better recordings from the late sixties. from a really good movie, The Trouble With Girls. so glad that this recording was included in the 1984 compilation album Elvis' Gold Records, Volume 5
Oh I thought this film was one of his worst! Terrible, silly script and in the vein of many of his films but they were at least enjoyable. However, it was the best for the way he looked at the time. Never saw him looking better except in Change of Habit, which came after TTWG.. Love this song though and play it often. Great melody and words.
Such true words. I love it. 1st time hearing this song. Elvis could sing any song and make it great. He looks so cool and handsome! There's a radiant glow about him. 🥇👍🤜🤛
Elvis was at his best from 1968 to 1973. He never sang or looked better. But no matter what era, there will never be another like him.
I agree about your never looked better years but his best voice was his last concert just before he died 1977
Elvis tells it like it is. Gosh, what a beautiful man with the perfect voice. Just the right amount of bravado. This is what keeps me listening to him. Still the King in 2024 ! Wish he were still with us.
No one comes close or ever will, the charisma, talent he had it all.
I wasn't a bad-lookin' guy and I think I even got laid once back in 1983!
Elvis...King of Music!!!!

Too bad he got....FAT!
Thumbs up one of Elvis's best songs

She looks a bit like Elizabeth Montgomery.
That hillbilly gal bobbin' on stage is what stands out in this clip, and a main reason why I came back to watch it! One of my FAV Elvis videos!
This is always been one of my favorite songs from an Elvis movie
He was just so ahead time 👍❤
So many of his songs so true Whats go on among Humans ❤️
Happy Heavenly Birthday King.

Wow. What a great voice and a handsome man.😘

He was absolutely beautiful! There are no words to describe the aura of this man!!
Yep ya right, but I wish he had of listened to some of the ones that actually cared about him and not the hanger ona res.
Boy, did he know how to sing any song !!! Coooool!!!!! 2021
I've never really been able to get into most of Elvis' films. But having said that there are some gems on the soundtracks.
This was a quality film. A great ensemble cast, entertaining music, and good acting by everyone.

I like how there's clearly a guy on the slide guitar but at the end Elvis tries to mime the slide on his guitar.

Nice
Truth over code.
It's simple.
Great performance.
A UK No.21 hit for The King in September 1969.
I noticed a rather annoying continuity error, where the woman in the red dress keeps changing her position behind Elvis a few times.
She's a babe though
Also, sometimes Elvis' guitar has a capo, sometimes it doesn't...
@Chris Boyle * Really? Were there other people on that screen besides Elvis? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@leemurphy8159 She is.
You tend to your business, I'll tend to minds
Wish my neighbor could really understand
Pocas películas del King he visto. Esta no por ejemplo. Parece que hizo más que el DiCaprio. Gran canción.
Guvnor ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏😜
The Girl standing behind Elvis. Her name ? Can anyone tell.!
The musicians are: Kathy Rainey (vocals, tambourine); Bill Paris (vocals, guitar); and Leonard Rumery (vocals, banjo, guitar).
@@margaretadams2939 Thanks for great answer. Kathy must be 70+ year today. 🙂

What is this editing?! Is the movie like this?
The drumming in this song is really good, though i am danged ifn i could see them.
The great majority of his movie songs were the dubbed studio versions and depending on the scene from the movie you can hear the instruments playing but they can’t be seen.

😂❤
who is that playing the dobro on this song
is this from Live a little love a little
@_E_G__FORLIFE_No. The movie is "The Trouble With Girls" - 1969.
Funny that the LP track has background singers
Back porch preacher preaching at me
Acting like he wrote the golden rules
Shaking his fist and speeching at me
Shouting from his soap box like a fool
Come Sunday morning he's lying in bed
With his eye all red, with the wine in his head
Wishing he was dead when he oughta be
Heading for Sunday school
Clean up your own backyard
Oh don't you hand me none of your lines
Clean up your own backyard
You tend to your business, I'll tend to mine
Drugstore cowboy criticizing
Acting like he's better than you and me
Standing on the sidewalk supervising
Telling everybody how they ought to be
Come closing time 'most every night
He locks up tight and out go the lights
And he ducks out of sight and he cheats on his wife
With his employee
Clean up your own backyard
Oh don't you hand me none of your lines
Clean up your own backyard
You tend to your business, I'll tend to mine
Armchair quarterback's always moanin'
Second guessing people all day long
Pushing, fooling and hanging on in
Always messing where they don't belong
When you get right down to the nitty-gritty
Isn't it a pity that in this big city
Not a one a'little bitty man'll admit
He could have been a little bit wrong
Clean up your own backyard
Oh don't you hand me, don't you hand me none of your lines
Clean up your own backyard
You tend to your business, I'll tend to mine
Clean up your own backyard
You tend to your business, I'll tend to mine

As a white man . Boy that vid bugs the shit out of me . Not a black person in sight . Considering its the brilliant black music which elvis loved .
Thumbs up if you think this song is BETTER than "A Little Less Conversation" EP fan and collector since 1971.
Way Better.
No comparison... they are both equally great!
This is a song that has recently become won of my very favorites. The phrasing is outstanding! Fan and collector since '73.
Oh. And a Yankees fan too!!!
Thumbs up if you hate the Yankees & you’re a Red Sox fan!!!😉🤣🤣
a great song and one of Elvis' better recordings from the late sixties. from a really good movie, The Trouble With Girls. so glad that this recording was included in the 1984 compilation album Elvis' Gold Records, Volume 5

Jesus. I've been a elvis fan for many years. When you think you've heard them all . Shit man what a tune . Why didn't I ever see this . 😮
Such true words. I love it. 1st time hearing this song. Elvis could sing any song and make it great. He looks so cool and handsome! There's a radiant glow about him. 🥇👍🤜🤛
Say what you will about Elvis movies but they are always great and this is one of my favorites. Looks good in that white suit
UK politicians, privelidged hypocrites and bullying managers everywhere, have a good listen.
I love this song..... had my son watch and listen and now he loves it too! Love me some Elvis
Glad I was raised by my grandparents and also me and Elvis Presley share same birthday 01/08
Elvis seems to really enjoy this song. I can understand as he was judged so unfairly by so many. Clean your own dirt.
I just got a new bottle of Mr. Clean!
Only reached no. 21 in UK in 1969; between two no. 2's - In The Ghetto and Suspicious Minds.
But, it is #1 in our hearts.
