    20 odd years ago ... here in Sydney I was asked to make "Wild Life" book marks for a chain of book stores. After a couple years they changed to photoshop images, instead of airbrush and colour pencil work. Our deal included a percentage of sales. Imaging my shock seeing my bookmarks still being sold. I had copy write on ALL my images. I had a Vietnam veterans poster stolen in the states by a large Chicago Museum. I ended up settling for a couple Grand and all unsold prints they made. You need to be careful... Both the USA and Australia have signed the newer copy write laws ...be safe...

    What paper do you use, to print it off?

    Thank you great tutorial. I got a bit lost when you did the cut marks though. Could you advise how you did it please? Thank you

      Hey there! Yes that was a bit of an ad on, and not completely necessary, but essentially just grab a simple line shape and ducpliatze it several times to put at the top and bottom of your designs. The line can be found in simple shapes under the elements panel. We just duplicated it and turned it around to create a corner piece.

    I love these tutorials AND Kittl itself. The program is incredibly intuitive, and you can get fantastic results with very little experience.

    Great Video! I followed along and made a Bookmark as you were teaching. I wondered how you stacked the Bookmarks after downloading them to upload on Kittl? Yes, I will make nature and inspiring Bookmarks in my Etsy shop. Thanks for sharing this wonderful program. I found out about Kittl from Sandra Di on UA-cam.

      Awesome! Thanks so much for watching! About the stacking, when you click on an image from you uploads tab, it goes to the middle of the artboard, so we just clicked all 4 uploads to have them go to the center of the artboard, which made them easier to resize together. BUT! With out new masking feature, you shouldn't need to download and upload them anymore! You can simple create your design in the mask! :)

    Looks straightforward enough. Although, the part I struggle with the most is, coming up with great designs like this in the first place.

    I adore bookmarks. And while not everyone can afford t-shirts, most can buy a set of a few, maybe same theme..imagination...beautiful small works of art...great gifts...

    Do I need the pro version of Kittl to make the customize size 2X6 inch bookmark?

    • @Kittldesign
      @Kittldesign  Рік тому +1

      Hey there! Yes, to make your own custom artboard sizes, you will need the Pro or Expert subscription to Kittl. However, if you click on a pre-made template from the Kittl home page, you can use the pre-set size of the template with no issues.

      @@Kittldesign Thank You for your reply. I have one more question. Now that I have created my 4 bookmarks, where do I go to create the document for them?

    This looks unreal and the quality it comes out is insane. What plan do you recommend? I was thinking of going with the pro version but I don’t know the difference between pro and expert?
    Also what does it mean by commercial license (requires attribution)

    • @Kittldesign
      @Kittldesign  Рік тому +2

      Hey there! Both the Pro and Expert plans have commercial license included (meaning you can use them for your Print on Demand business, or small business, or for a client, etc.
      The main differences between the Pro and Expert plans are with Space, and Premium Templates (exclusive designs). With the Pro plan, you have 50 project slots (which of course can be deleted to continue adding new projects), and with the Expert plan, you have unlimited Project Slots and a larger Upload Data capacity if you are uploading many graphics to your Kittl account. We suggest the Pro if you are just getting started and wanting to make some Print on Demand or Printable products for sites like Etsy. However if you see yourself creating a large quantity of designs soon, maybe the Expert plan would be more suitable! You can check out the main differences here: www.kittl.com/pricing Hope this helps!

    How did you make the large white sheet 8x5x11? How is it three dimensions?

    • @Kittldesign
      @Kittldesign  Рік тому

      Hey there! It's not 3 dimensions, it's 8.5 by 11 (not 8 x 5 x 11). A standard piece of printer paper size. :)
