Hi, great video! Just one question. What should be the best optimum file size you should upload for a poster like the one you demonstrated. Thanks for the video.
Hey Mey, I never thought Zazzle was such a great place for designers other than just for personal use. After watching your video, I’m just so surprised and in awe that their website has such a powerful interface of different programs for savvy designers to use. Or even like you, being your own boss and doing design business within the website that doesn't cost much investment. Brilliant! It’s definitely better than Etsy. Thank you so much! Lewis
I'm actually one of those who just saw Zazzle as a tool for printing out some custom posters for myself at first. Quality of the paper is great. First print I made for myself had a very good custom-sized frame too. It was only a couple years later that it dawned on me to try selling posters and other designs on Zazzle. Good experiences led to high expectations.
I just want to acknowledge how thoroughly you teach & for all the people who do not comment but actually appreciate you ... THANK YOU 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 for helping so many of us. You're a true gem 💎💎
This is a very helpful video, for which I am grateful. Very clear and concise instructions that helped walk me through the process of selling my own posters for the first time!
I just wanted to come back and say how much I loved this tutorial, I love it so much I come back to it all the time when I'm uploading a new piece to my zazzle wall art store. And because I have several youtube accounts I'm often having to hunt for it. But little by little I'm getting it saved in all of them. 😁Thanks so much for all your super helpful tutorials.
That was fantastic and a revelation for me, since I didn’t know about this marketplace. Etsy seems to me flooded with cheap products and I don’t want to compete with someone who sells a 12pcs bundle for a dollar. It takes me a long time to prepare a quality bundle that will look good on different backgrounds, and to get a dollar for it just isn’t viable. Maybe I don’t know how to do it fast but that’s how it is. Thank you!
There is a whole playlist on my channel regarding Zazzle... granted - a lot of it is for print on demand, but it still shows a lot of things like shop creation and other cool stuff that they have !

Thanks :) Though i think that for the full set up of shop and more info the series i made on zazzle was better LOL I will also make a video soon on printable greeting cards
I didn't watch this yet. However, I can say this is an important video for me as a consumer. I have been disturbed, yet again, by Etsy management, though I am only a buyer. And i try to buy in line with my morals. One of the biggest issue I have as a consumer is that there are just aren't many good options for me living in Israel. I order mostly physical products, but sometimes I do order printables. And it is good for me as a consumer to know about other options to Etsy. This can help to build better marketplaces and platforms, which is good for all of us. So thank you!
Ohhh a fellow Israeli ❤️ You might also wanna try and search for printables on the kind you want on Instagram… a lot of artists and designers sell printables on their own websites not just on marketplaces:)
@@MeyTribe, I am not on Instagram. I think that might make it more challenging for me, but I like competition so I am happy that Zazzle is doing this. (I don't own stock in the company, to be clear.)

Thank you! Mey, another great video tutorial. Much appreciated! Yes! Would love to see videos on how to create on Zazzle, printable greeting cards, mugs, and t-shirts.
The printable greeting cards video is already in the pipeline... Mugs and tshirts are pretty much standart I guess, when it comes to POD, but I will try and add that as well. Maybe not so soon as I will be taking a break soon to move apartments and spend time with my mom who's coming for a visit.
I'm following along and loving this tutorial. Thank you for going through everything so extensively. For some reason my price ended up higher than yours but that must have to do with selecting the size Zazzle "appreciated." I loved that word choice.
im interested in using zazzle i am a beginner and etsy seemed too confusing this video makes zazzle seem very simple to use better then etsy i subscribed! thank you!!!
I feel like everything can be made simple once you analyze the steps :) So many people find Zazzle to be super confusing, as they approach it when thinking of other marketplaces... but yeah, it is a great way to make printable wall art, soooo easy !!
@@MeyTribe i'm experienced with different creator programs I just didn't understand the ratio thing with etsy, Zazzle has the size thing in the bag for me now just to set it up when my life stops being so busy 🌻
@@XO.Girl007 Ohhhh well, printable wall art on Etsy doesn't require a specific ratio. Yes, many people design for ALL ratios per design, but a lot of seller also just upload a 24x24 inch file, or even an 8x10 inch file and that's what they are selling. I think though, Zazzle def makes it easier with a built in true-to-size mockup

For example - a store near me recently stopped carrying the soup mugs with handles. I thought of just going to amazon but then had the better thought to design my own custom soup bowls with designs I want, maybe even my name on them, and just order a couple more of those so I can have them for my soup/chili etc,. - Heidi
Wow super interesting video! I’ve never considered selling on zazzle before but have been having a love hate relationship with Etsy for my printable products so will be giving zazzle a go for sure! Do you have any videos discussing your income from zazzle?
just an fyi I missed how you got to categories because your "you window" was blocking it. I figured it out though thanks so much for this extensive tutorial!
Ciao, Thanks for this video, very cool. I would like to ask you something: can we also exploit the advantage of not having to worry about images and DPI with Zazzle in this way? : do we download the necessary files at the desired resolutions and ratios, and use them on ETSY to make wall art at different proportions?
Great video, thank you! Can a customer also edit the background color? I do a lot of small business designs and am wondering if they could edit with their brand colors. Thanks again!
Thanks for the video. I've been toying with the idea or opening an Etsy shop for the past month and a half but I think I might do this rather. Opened a Redbubble Shop last week as well and got standard tier... Meh. I like the idea of being able to open multiple shops with different niches. Yay
Yeah, having the options to niche down with different shops and not have to switch accounts is one of my fav features of Zazzle too, even though their shop set up is a bit more complex than the others. Good luck with whichever of those you choose to invest your time in :)
Thanks for the great video! To sell poster on Zazzle can you please tell me what are the dimension and aspect ration I should set for my poster while designing in photoshop or illustrator?
Thanks for your great tutorials. Could I please ask how you choose Value Poster Paper Matte? When I click on create your own, a different screen to the one shown in your video appears with loads of different types of paper i.e. Premium Satin Photo Paper, semi-gloss etc but I cannot see Value Matte anywhere. I am having to use Poster Paper semi-gloss, is this a different version of Zazzle? Thanks for any help.
Well, I will have a video on that when I get back, but think about it as 2 different mediums in which you can "categorize" your work. I love to separate based on products VS style Several examples: A home decor shop can have categories based on products, and collections based on the dominant color. A shop for wall art will have categories based on the intended room, and collection based on the type of design (motivational quotes, art deco, etc.) A shop that sells merch for dog lovers, would have categories for their products, and collections like - dog patterns, for dog moms, personalized. It would be much easier though to explain and help if you can tell me what you wanna sell :)
Hi! Thank you for nice video, as always :)! I saw so many different videos about the platforms, where we can sell digital arts. What is Your opinion about, if I sell Digital Cliparts, which platform is the best for selling this kind of art? Now I only have Etsy store, which moves so slowly.. so searching one more platform for my works. Could you advice, please, about which platform to choose :)). Creative Fabrica, Red Bubble, Creative Market, Zazzle or something else :)? Thank you very much, for your kind reply :)
Excellent Tutorial! Thank you. Is it possible to upload my own digital designs ? I have post some of my work in ArtPal, with no much luck, can I upload designs that are there? They are all digital made with Illustrator and Photoshop. Thanks and regards
Thank you for the valuable video. Can you tell me about payout methods ? I do not have a access to paypal in my country, so is there have a another method of getting paid ?
Nice video. I am playing with print on demand. Which is so much fun. But I want to know please, do I need to upscale an midjourney image for a story book? ❤❤❤❤
As I am soon taking a break- I would say no. Also- choosing a niche for what ? print on demand ? printables ? jewelry? templates? You can sell so many things on Etsy. I also can't make a "create an account" video without being banned from Etsy for opening more stores...
My only question is how would you gain traffic as an emerging artist looking for exposure on Zazzle like you would with Etsy? Could I possibly just still sell my items and products I get from Zazzle on Etsy right?
Do you have an opinion on if 1 general store or multiple specific stores is Best..Also can you/should you Sell the same design be it POD or Digital on multiple platforms?
And now i see this is not yoru first video on the topic; you have one from a month ago. For some reason i missed it. Regardless, this is good for all of us.
Yeah, the one from a month ago was about zazzle finally launching that option... But for people who don't know Zazzle from print on demand, and generally looking to sell printables on Etsy or more like an alternative- I made this one.
Possibly it was mentioned in the video and I missed it; but when Zazzle is hosting a website sale and is even deciding for you how much % are going off your products - without u having any say in it - I would assume that they are most likely taking the cut for that sale from their own share?
Well- it's THEIR shop, so they make sales for POD and printables per their will and that determines the end price, we determine the commission we'll get from that end price.
I just went to the pay section and for people outside of the US they ask to filled out IRS W-8 BEN form, and they will take of 30% of net earnings for taxes, now I see why not many people is in this platform, like how much money can we actuallt keep. Sigh! Also wait 45 days to be paid :( I love the platform but is there anyother good alternative besides redbubble?
When you upload a design you place it in a category. After that- you add it to a collection. If you're in the dashboard and can't find the place to see categories- upload a screenshot to the FB group and ask, we'll be able to help you better once we see what you're seeing :)
If the download % don’t appear on the listing time, you can activate it after .. I was showing that process in this video - ua-cam.com/video/kgxvNw_SrJI/v-deo.html
just heads up guys, sales are slow this 2023 even forbes has reported that retails everywhere have slow sales maybe due to inflation. let's pray and hope that sales pick up again soon.
Yup. worldwide everything is slowing down due to recession. I think that we just need to be more creative with our designs and marketing. I do know many other stores, mostly independent ones that are selling items at a higher cost- that haven't seen a slow down... as the RICH don't experience recession like the rest of the world. I also saw a rise in sales for people I know who sell sustainable items, things like zero plastic phone cases, and organic clothing... One of the reasons I love Zazzle so much is that buyers can customize their own items, and these are items that are slowing down less in comparison to the rest of the items. But yeah, the world is slowing down...
@@MeyTribe does Zazzle carry those organic products like the Zero Plastic Phone Cases and Organic Clothing? If not, whereis the best place to source those for POD style stores?
@@CRXSH I haven't checked ALL of their 1500 products... so I am not sure. I think I saw some. I do know that many POD suppliers have organic or more sustainable options, but it would take about a few hours of research to actually answer that. I will try adding it to my video list before taking my break...
The same way I downloaded it - with the download artwork button. BUT- it would be in a small size, and if you used text from Zazzle you'll have to make sure you're licenced to use that font outside of Zazzle.
Whichever platform you choose to use... I am a bit confused from the question. You can market on Facebook, Instagram., tiktok, youtube, pinterest, reddit, a blog... whatever you choose.
Won't use Zazzle or won;t use other platforms ? (Kinda confused, as I know Etsy doesn't take anywhere near that amount, and other marketplaces take 30%...) I think it's different here, since in this case the platform is the seller of the item, and not you, you're the designer. For me, I rather put things there as well, if they sell- cool.
If that's what you think- don't sell on either. I mean, I never saw it that way as I was never looking for a platform to give me traffic... I always marketed my own stuff. For me Zazzle was a good idea, as any product I wanna promote from them I can do so with an affiliate link and get commission even if someone buys from my competitors. But think about it... if there was a marketplace that gave people tons of free traffic... how long will it take it to be over-saturated?

I love to separate based on products VS style
Several examples:
A home decor shop can have categories based on products, and collections based on the dominant color.
A shop for wall art will have categories based on the intended room, and collection based on the type of design (motivational quotes, art deco, etc.)
A shop that sells merch for dog lovers, would have categories for their products, and collections like - dog patterns, for dog moms, personalized.
It would be much easier though to explain and help if you can tell me what you wanna sell :)
Great video. I've opened a Etsy store about a month ago, so far.. crickets, lol. Does Etsy allow you to open a Zazzle store at the same time?
Etsy has a lot of chrome extensions to use. does zazzle have one ?
Thanks for this video.
Of course, why not ? I was showing in the first example uploading a design I made myself with Procreate :)
thank you
You're welcome
What are some of the product to create for digital download
Awesome with Zazzle to have multiple stores and not need individual state licences fo reach store, unlike Etsy.
Yes, you do. Most especially if using it for a cover.
@@goilo888 Thank you. 🤗🤗🤗🤗
Can u please do a video on creating an account, choosing the niche then making the store on etsy, like step by step..?
Question, should the title/product description and tags be keywords/SEO riddled like in Etsy? Thanks. :)
Can photographs be used too I mean pictures I take of the wild or beaches etc..
it is helpful, but how to create just digital files for Donwload?
how can i put my own mockup?
Once the item was made and published for sale you'll have that option when looking at the item up top "product media manager"
Hi Mey, the Society6 link expired. Could you please post a new one? thank you for your videos :)
Isn't Zazzle the subject of a Copyright Lawsuit currently?
I can't find category option
When you upload a design you place it in a category.
After that- you add it to a collection.
If you're in the dashboard and can't find the place to see categories- upload a screenshot to the FB group and ask, we'll be able to help you better once we see what you're seeing :)
I created a greeting card and couldn't find the digital download option. Any advice?
If the download % don’t appear on the listing time, you can activate it after ..
I was showing that process in this video -

@@MeyTribe thank you so much!
just heads up guys, sales are slow this 2023 even forbes has reported that retails everywhere have slow sales maybe due to inflation. let's pray and hope that sales pick up again soon.
Yup. worldwide everything is slowing down due to recession.
@@MeyTribe ahh i see, thanks for bringing this topic to light, sounds like a good solutions for a lot of the obstacles we are facing in these spaces
How can I download the design created in my store in an editable format, such as to upload it to other platforms?
You can’t from Zazzle. You’d have to recreate it somewhere else.
The same way I downloaded it - with the download artwork button.
BUT- it would be in a small size, and if you used text from Zazzle you'll have to make sure you're licenced to use that font outside of Zazzle.
Can we really get sale on Zazzle
Of course... It's a marketplace with millions of shoppers.
You just need to find the right things to sell, set up a shop, and market it.
Which platform will we market our Zazzle shop
Whichever platform you choose to use... I am a bit confused from the question.
You can market on Facebook, Instagram., tiktok, youtube, pinterest, reddit, a blog... whatever you choose.
I don't find quick create Zazzle?
I don't understand the question...
@@MeyTribe Did Zazzle remove the quick create a feature?
@@benameurbenyahia3922 I don't know
I never used it or saw it...
Does zazzle offer water marks to protect seller’s designs?
مجھے کیسے اس پر شاپ بنانے کے بعد آڈر ملے گا اس کی کوئی گارنٹی ہے یا صرف ٹائم ویسٹ ہوگا
I'm sorry, I tried using google translate - but I think the translation was wrong cause it didn't make much sense...
@@MeyTribe dear If I do what you say, I will earn immediately or it will take time
@@Lifelonglearning820 if you design good designs on zazzle, or on any other platform - you’ll have to do marketing .
No one can promise you money.
@@MeyTribe Thankx
Mey i wanted to watch this but the sound was so bad i had to stop :-(
Not sure what to say... I can't change sound on old videos...
Zazzle is very confusing..
I know... And they also change a LOT all the time!
Great because Etsy blows!
alternatives take 50% + and that is why i wont use them
Won't use Zazzle or won;t use other platforms ?
(Kinda confused, as I know Etsy doesn't take anywhere near that amount, and other marketplaces take 30%...)
I think it's different here, since in this case the platform is the seller of the item, and not you, you're the designer.
For me, I rather put things there as well, if they sell- cool.
zazzle is just as saturated st etsy
If that's what you think- don't sell on either.
I mean, I never saw it that way as I was never looking for a platform to give me traffic... I always marketed my own stuff.
For me Zazzle was a good idea, as any product I wanna promote from them I can do so with an affiliate link and get commission even if someone buys from my competitors.
But think about it... if there was a marketplace that gave people tons of free traffic... how long will it take it to be over-saturated?
I couldn't see an instant download option to set. Please help to set it. thank you @mey Aroyo
I can't help without seeing what you're seeing... it's why we have the group for- for people to ask questions while being able to share screenshots
better than banned okay.. banned suspended
Great video. I’ve noticed after I upload my designs and check my tags, some of the tags are highlighted blue and some aren’t. Is there a reason for this and should it be something to worry about🇬🇧🫶
