From the large trees covering the rainforest of Southeast Asia, to the arid dry climate of East Africa’s Savannah, the equator's sun has the ability to create lush landscapes or dry, cold, flat terrains. Caught between opposing forces of heat and chill, animals and plants living on the Equator must adapt or die. But cold is also a life-giver and an ally that can bring great riches and with the sun. In South America, the equator crosses a country which bears its name, Ecuador.

i really like this planet. it sure would be nice if we could shut down the oil and coal industries so that we might be able to enjoy a healthy planet. at the very least, we should look for ways to take care of ourselves without fossil fuels while we do what we must more efficiently. and maybe stop making cheap stuff from plastic… it just breaks and makes us sad. ☮️❤️🌏🌍🌎

@@Nathavoltbut why? Ecuador is the country and it doesn't spell the same way as the line of the Equator in English. The confusion might be possible in Spanish because it is spelled the same as the country.

It was a good documentary overall, but it was a tad off-putting when the narrator said that the trees make their life difficult, when in essence it's their mode of transport & food. Or other examples "face full fury of the sun" when there's still coverage & only sunlight from gaps in trees. I feel like he wanted to use too much flowery language without considering the factual implications

God gives life, not the sun! The sun is His creation and sits in the firmament, running its course. We do not move around the sun, the sun goes a course around the circle (not globe) of the earth. You have all been lied to about God's great creation. Open up your Bible and read, whilst there is time and God can be found. Judgement day is coming, get right with the Most High whilst you can. This is His creation, the sun is also.
