This is the best Sir David Attenborough Nature Documentaries for sure. I absolutely love this whole series!! A huge THANK YOU NETFLIX FOR SHARING!! It truly heartbreaking to hear what devastation we have caused to our own planet!! Really hope this opens people's eyes!!!
It is a beautiful documentary but also commercial for Netflix and brainwashing propaganda for global warming. Ask yourself why would Netflix just let you watch this for free without commercials? I enjoy the video but don't buy the BS that they are selling.
Cinematography, shots, and everything about this documentary are absolutely fabulous..... but Everybody talks about the shots and the effort behind them, no one talks about the magnificent power that creates these creatures, scenes, nature, and the mind of the cinematographers.
Smattless while I agree that we’re losing our minds far too much over the environment it’s not like Earth is doing fine regardless of us either. Deforestation threatens biodiversity on a massive scale, for example, and this documentary series does a pretty good job naming plenty of things that have been destroyed. Overfishing has also seriously messed up environments across the planet. The fact that for every destroyed ecosystem you can name two that are flourishing doesn’t actually change the facts, it just puts them into perspective but since the value of life is so subjective the scale is pointless anyways.
@Smattless uhm water pollution, air pollution, noise pollution. We usurp lands of wildlife habitat. Overly exploiting natural resources, marine animals being eaten to extinction. Most of their predators die because they don't have any preys to eat to begin with. We are making species extinct faster than we discover them. 🙄Nuclear explosions.. what else?? I can name a lot. This virus is the cleansing ritual of Mother Nature. We are the real virus.
I haven't ever seen a animals documentaries like this. It was made like a movie. I hope all of you who make this movie always health end keep make other great documentaries.

Our WORLD, our EARTH. It's not a planet. So many have been deceived to think that they live on a spinning ball chasing a fire ball thru the solar system that it has become insane to think so.

This is one of the most beautiful documentaries I've every seen it really inspired me and made me realize that we need to fix how we treat this amazing planet, because if we don't it could be the end of what we all know as Earth. Our Planet should keep making episodes if possible because every night I watch one I can't wait to see another one and show off what I learned. I feel like people really need to know that we don't have much time to fix what we have done.

Yea, but theres also the other aspect. Would these species do the same if they where the dominant species? Probably We are nature too. We just have enough power to decide what happens.
Ill tell you why (IF other human species have existed) where sucessful. They most likely didn't populate the world, but a city sized section. They would have a shitton more resources, wouldn't be destroying the earth, would have less people to take care of, and could research and function better. And that is why sacrifices most likely happened, to keep the city limit.

Amazing! Spectacular all around. Most are just mesmerizing, gave me goosebumps. Thank you, Sir David Attenborough. Nature movies wouldn't be the same without you. Great fan here from Northern Canada.
First of all, let me preface what I'm about to say by letting you know that for the past eight years I have been living with severe depressive disorder, so my view is going to be somewhat jaded. I grew up in the 1970s watching with fascination the documentaries of David Attenborough. "Life on Earth" introduced me to this man who continued with programs such as "The Living Planet", "The First Eden", "The Trials of Life" and probably my favourite, "Life in the Freezer". There are dozens of others but I won't go through the entire list here. Summing it up, David Attenborough was my hero. I learned so much from his programs that no school curriculum could ever come close. Then, after 2000, the narrative seemed to change. Programs like "State of the Planet", "Planet Earth", "The Truth about Climate Change" and many more. This latest instalment, while as always, incredible with its stunning visuals and intimate views of world-wide fauna and flora continue to tell me that the world is deteriorating and it's my fault. Because of me, dams are drying up rivers. Because of me, wild lands are being converted to agricultural farmlands. Because of me, virgin forests are disappearing to make tables, chairs, pianos and countless other commodities to the exclusion of the wild creatures that inhabited those forests. I do understand that the world is suffering from the industrialisation that mankind has developed. But using language like "we", "us" or "our" hits a nerve that makes me feel worse about myself than I already did. I never chopped down a single tree, never once dammed a river and whenever I came across a wild animal, I treated it with respect and sometimes even befriended a few. Urban kangaroos will often happily approach if you have a handful of rice cakes. So why try to make me feel guilty by saying that "we" are destroying habitats? Put the blame where it lies...the governments, corporations and over-zealous agriculturalists who put these destructive activities in place with little to no remediation. I love nature and do whatever I can to help the tiny area in which I live. Please stop making me feel like the degradation of the world is down to me. Please, David. Be my hero again.
I love land and animal documentaries! It's like being their in real life in real time it's just Amazing!!. Thank you to All involved from the desk of thought to the choreographers to Audio mix & master guys to the narrator etc etc etc !!. Thank you and plz keep bringing us to par on our planet issues . Amen.
Wow, absolutely mind blowing figures about amount of water made by the Amazon rain forest. What an education this is as well as so engagingly and skillfully shot/cinematographies. Am completely addicted to this series and recommending it to every human I know.
Timestamps: 01:12 🌍 Freshwater scarcity in arid regions is a pressing issue. 02:52 ☁ Monsoon-triggered rains transform Australia's desert into a temporary lake. 05:53 🦢 Pelicans in Lake Eyre must raise chicks quickly before the lake dries. 06:59 ❄ Polar ice stores a significant portion of the world's freshwater. 11:06 🐟 Dams disrupt salmon migrations, impacting both fish and predators.
All I can say is "Shame on humans they have a lot to answer for!!!" Greed, money, and population explosion...something has to change before its too damned late. Where would we be without people like the great David A bringing this to our attention? trouble is the people who cause these disasters don't watch these videos..... thanks to all concerned in making these amazing videos and thanks to Netflix for allowing UA-cam to show them.

Though at the starting of the video, i was enjoying the view the videography the narration but it didn’t went the same till the end. I was not able to express the pain i felt at the end of the video. I hope we as humans will do justice with our planet without being greedy for ourselves. Thank you Netflix for this amazing, mind blowing, and extremely informative documentary. I Pledge to take care of my mother earth and i need all of us to take part & build the earth a better place for all. ❤️🌍❤️

Together with The BBC and now Netflix he has educated us all about the natural world, how to respect and protect nature, wild animals, birds and all kinds of sea and freshwater creatures.

"Our Planet" is my favorite documentary series ever. Beside getting to know our planet better (and we humans are really selfish and destructive creatures), these series are just... bomb. It feels as if we're watching a movie in a big cinema, with all those alluring, pleasing shots and exciting BGMs. It must've been a difficult journey. Props to the cameramen and all the staffs who make these series.

Watching nature documentaries is very frustrating nowadays, because so much destructions we have made to nature
@@helicopter_traffic Yes You’re right about that
You commented this on every videos in Netflix shame on you
@Smattless uhm water pollution, air pollution, noise pollution.

Well there's one nation thats less than 5% of the Earths population yet uses 25% of its resources, can you guess who that is? Don't put that on the whole species.

We are nature too. We just have enough power to decide what happens.
Ill tell you why (IF other human species have existed) where sucessful.
They most likely didn't populate the world, but a city sized section. They would have a shitton more resources, wouldn't be destroying the earth, would have less people to take care of, and could research and function better.

Amazing! Spectacular all around. Most are just mesmerizing, gave me goosebumps. Thank you, Sir David Attenborough. Nature movies wouldn't be the same without you. Great fan here from Northern Canada.
Thank you to making it OPEN for "everybody" to watch.
I almost cried at 35:50
It is beyond beautiful!
