Testing out some Moonlit and Nirvana Rods floating one of my favorite local rivers!

How about for carp fishing,would the 6wt fiberglass hold up?

Yeah, it would definitely hold up. I use it for carp fishing all the time. However, if you're only going to use it for carp, I would go with a 7 or and 8wt so you can boss the carp around a bit more. I like my 6wt fiberglass for a trout streamer rod and a carp rod.
