    The precipitation of the calcite piece was very interesting. Thanks for the vacay field tour!

      I might not have explained it perfectly either. The reprecipitation is not really coming from the rock, it's the sand above it(when it's buried) dissolving, then reprecipitating when it gets to and collects on the rocks.

      Right on man. Glad you're coming back. I think I've got a public playlist of "for class" youtube videos that I'm constantly adding to. Rarely do I have class watch more than 10% of them. Basically, it's quality edutainment type stuff that's sort of relevant to geology. Go find that if you want some quality information about more than just what I talk about.
