Phenomenal. I think this is the most beautiful Turandot I’ve ever heard. And I never thought Nilsson could be displaced (or even approached). The voice is powerful but beautiful. ❤❤❤
My word she is wonderful. Beautiful voice. Rock solid technique. The world has been waiting with anticipation for a dramatic voice like this for a long time. Eva you are wonderful. This is how "In Questa reggia" should be sung. I think the world's opera houses are going to fight over her services. Bravaaaaa.
Worth to mention that her diction is really good, and that she did not resort.to any gesture of hands or facial muscles... Complete focus on the singing, no distraction. Brava to her!

An absolutely stunning performance which I luckily happened upon by chance in searching for this aria. Beautiful piano playing every turning point in the aria with delicate clairty, and that exquisite voice, sounding almost more lonely and intense in this minimalist setting. Thank you.
Dear Ewa, I heard this aria many times live and on recordings as well. After the great singers of the past I never thought I'll hear a voice of such caliber again. Good technique and a beautiful voice! Brava!!!! Make sure you keep your voice healthy! Never force it. I wish you the very best!!!! :-)

She is very impressive in a sea of complete vocal mediocrity. The voice is big, freely produced, and has a blazing top. Most miraculous in these decadent operatic days - she sings in tune!

That's great. I hope she continues to SING this music when she sings with an orchestra, rather than scream it, as most singers do. And it's so refreshing to see a singer who doesn't look like she's chewing gun when she sustains a note. Her jaw and tongue are steady and relaxed, and the tone is brilliant and rich.
I literally stander next to her many times in 2021 in Austria. (I was a stage extra) she was unbeliaveble. I never heard somebody so good live... She never lost her voice, she never had any issues singing the whole role, she was flawless...

FANTASTIC performance and a superb rendition The scene stealer was the dancer with the sword he was the centre stage and contributed a great deal to the spectaular production ---who was he ?
Love the reserved and calm yet powerful delivery, and clarity. however that most equisite transition in the score from 0:50 to 0:57 would benifit from more dynamic subltly. It should sound like an eagle ascending with measured majestic strokes and then breaking unexpectedly through the clouds into a lofty glide. I hate to compare but singers like Radvanovksy and especiallh Callas does a good job of transitioning into that top note with such subtle shift in colour and slight diminished volume creating an etherial suspended feeling. Also at 1.50 onwards a slight increase and disturbance of tempo would give it the sense of urgency needed and prevent it from sounding like a march as with this rigid tempo. Beautiful voice though
