How to Fix Samsung Galaxy A53 Won’t Charge

In today’s repair video, we will fix a Samsung A53 that won’t charge. Through our measurement, the charging port and charging-related circuits both work fine, which leads to the conclusion that the charging IC might cause the problem. We replace the charging IC and the device charges again.

Thank you, but I don't see the voltage test point. My phone charges very slowly at 0.08A from the start with a battery voltage of 3.2V initially!
now I measure 3.60v on the battery socket, so it charges, but too slowly and my screen remains black! do you have an idea?

OVP IC might be broken by water inflow.

@@mr.tuliao1079 No, there's a small ic called ovp (over voltage protection) that might get damaged. You can simply replace the ic, which is safer for the future, but you can also bypass it with jumper wire.
