- Bravado (A Tribute to Rush)- Live Sheffield City Hall Ballroom.01.06.2017.
A Concert to Celebrate 40 Years Of Rush.
Xanadu- from the 1977 Rush album- A Farewell To Kings.
Filmed Steve Russell.
Everytime I hear a cover of any RUSH song it makes me appreciate how really talented Geddy, Alex and Neil are. So very difficult to try and play ANY RUSH song.
Check out YYNOT !!!! Great tribute
Critics often used to slam Geddy but nobody else can really do his stuff like him.
"Rush" is my favorite band, and this is my favorite track. Champion from the champion! Fine! Respect to these guys from Russia.
I don't think they're from Russia
Damn good
guitar player nailed that whole intro section!
Totally!! Best I've seen on UA-cam.
@@Cool7Songs Oh, really? Check these guys out. ua-cam.com/video/nAmAjuOhJKo/v-deo.html&lc=UgzSHxczVqz82UEcgmx4AaABAg
He's really giving it to those chimes. 😂
I laughed at that, he's really going at it!
Good to see them keeping the sound and vibe alive and strong in this post Rush era.
Fantastic! What a brilliant night it was - thanks for posting.
Yesss
Wonderful, wonderful job guys!!! Wow, that was good!
I feel lucky to have seen Rush perform Xanadu twice in the 8 times that I got to see them.
Awesome job
jeez. that Gibson tone is SPOT on
They did a great job, but I do have to agree with one of the previous comments, the drums are a bit watered down compared to the original, but come on! Who can be Neal Peart?!?!?
The probjem is the camera mic. picking up the general PA. These mics tend to be er not good. Rush DVDs will take a mix audio direct from the desk and remix it properly for TVs etc.
I saw this and thought WTF ?! Gotta hand it to these guys, Bravo !
That guitarist is really good
Amazing dude. The whole band musically is spot on.
outstanding!
"Positive sits on the positive and drives positive!" (Russian proverb) My favorite rock band and my favorite song from their repertoire (I hope that this is clear from my profile picture). )))). Above is just paradise! The audience is handsome! It is a pity that I am not among them. Help very cool!
Regards from Russia. Bravo!
The homemade doubleneck Ricki is awesome!
OUTSTANDING!!!
He is making love to the chimes!!!!!!!
that was f-ing awesome!!!!
That was cool. Really cool.
Fantastic cover.....if only it was miked properly, not that I'm an expert but it just sounds "muddy". Other than that, superb song!
This tribute band here sounds better.

Fire the mixing dude you can't even hear the drums......
This recording mix is on point, not like these guys mix.

The guitar player looks like Neil Peart🥺
RIP Neil Peart 🤘
RIP Neil Peart. :(
muy buena versión. saludos desde Argentina.
Exquisite.
Nice find
Great stuff
dudes going a little crazy on the chimes. settle down dude.,
What happened to bravado💔this kicks ass too
They are headlining a two day charity prog festival called Prog For Peart in memory of Neil Peart and to raise money for brain cancer research on Friday 13th August 2021 and Saturday 14th August 2021
Thats not a real double-neck Ric, it almost looks like someone shaved off the top of a Ric guitar and glued it to the bottom of a Ric bass. Whatever works I guess.
wrinkleneckbass I don’t blame him. Ricks are so so so expensive.
Yeah, folks, let's agree with the guy with a Daffy Duck profile pic.
Yeah, that is kinda strange looking.
you and I seem to be the only ones who noticed....I have 2 Rics and was appalled :D
Poor drummer could only afford one set of wind chimes. :)
He's the worst in the band
haha... gotta make budget cuts somewhere
Fucking amazing!👏👏👏👏👏
nice job
Seeing you guys Tomo! Pls play this XD
Yep they played and nailed it! See you in Sheffield!!
The Rush Tribute Project is much better
You got that right. Saw them in St. Louis on 11/18/22 at The River City Casino and they were absolutely fantastic. ua-cam.com/video/nAmAjuOhJKo/v-deo.html&lc=UgzSHxczVqz82UEcgmx4AaABAg
Check out YYNOT !!!!!!
Fire the sound man!
Canadian Brewing Channel it’s the video (audio) recording. Not the sound guy. Recorded straight to video cam.
@@AndrewCCM yes these cam mics are ok for general audio. But not good for full concerts where they would feed the audio from the mixing desk to a recorder and sync it up in post production.
a better recording would do them justice.
👌 🇨🇦
Xanaduuuuu, my fav Rush song...but, and the Smoke ? Where is the smoke ?
The smoke is on the water!
@@u.v.s.5583 Jajajaja and fire in the sky...
drummers crash sounds like something off of a hello kitty drum kit😻🥁 other than that great job!
Don’t slam Hello Kitty drum kits, they rock! Portnoy has played one.
@@Lerxst3333 hahaa I saw that one😅
Drummer is weak. Lots of incorrect playing and does not hit hard enough.
You can't blame him for that, he's not Neil Peart
I agree. But that is the problem with pretty much every Rush tribute band - they don't have Neil for a drummer. A lot of guys could play more accurately than the guy in this video, and that is the point of a tribute band isn't it? The intent is to play the songs as close to the original as possible. This isn't American Idol where you are rewarded for "making the song your own". A tribute band should, like Rush always did, replicate the song that was on the album.
The problem with not having Neil is that nobody can play as accurately and precisely while still hitting the drums with all their might. Neil had that special gift of power AND precision.
The guy is more of a “finesse” player than a real heavy hitter. He still does an excellent job here though. Exceptional timing and a good recreation of The Professor’s magic.
If the guy was awful and really did suck, then yeah, i guess let him have it, if you really have to be a dick but wow. If you need perfect drums, listen to the album.
Yes this band here doesn't look like Rush as much; but are good too.

Woodblocks were not right!
Meh
Worst cover band i heard so far
Drummer is really bad.
The guitar player really did his homework here. He's pretty damn good.
@@ixcygnusxi9107 Oh, there are many intermediate degrees between 'bad' and 'Neil Peart'. I'd actually call this drummer good, not great. Not everybody will make an acceptable job at covering a Neil Peart song.
@@u.v.s.5583 FANTASTIC point!
A huge Rush fan friend recommended Bravado to me, I've not seen them, but he told me they were spot on. The fact that we have now lost Neil Peart, pretty much confirms it unlikely we'll ever see Rush again. Not my favourite band, but I do love Rush, and if I get the chance to see Bravado I will go. Because Rush were technically brilliant musicians, I would say that forming a Rush tribute band would be more challenging than most. To state that this is the worst is being really very harsh. The band playing are Rush fans just like you. If you don't like what they do, then all you have to do is put on your headphones and listen to Exit Stage Left. I'm no Rush purist, but I am fan
