That’s just called being a good friend because someone should’ve also said he needed to be cut off from drinks so he can start sobering up and take him home. It’s sad and very scary. And the fact he’s not at any nearby hospitals. I really hope they have this resolved quickly always hoping for a happy ending
I'm a woman in my 50s, this wouldn't of happened when I was younger as well because we took care of each other even when we partied. Women partying were like "no girl left behind." I've seen similar recent sad cases where "friends" let someone leave drunk and horrible things happened to them. The people he was with said they "assumed" he got back to the hotel after getting back. They obviously didn't text or call him to insure he did cause they didn't know he was gone til the next day.
And I am damn tired of people defending his so called friends. They had 0% empathy or concern for his safety and well being. Not only did his fraternity brothers let go off after dark in an unfamiliar, metropolitan city whilst wasted. THEY ALSO WAITED 16 HOURS TO REPORT HIM MISSING, AND TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY INSTEAD OF STICKING AROUND TO HELP SEARCH FOR HIM THE HIGH TAILED IT AND GOT THE HELL OUT OF DODGE. IN MY DAY FRIENDS NEVER LET FRIENDS GO OFF ALONE. HIS FRIENDS SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES, BUT I BET THEY HAVE NOT LOST 1 MINUTE OF SLEEP OVER HIS DISAPPEARANCE. POOR KID MAY HE RIP
William cow and what if he was drugged, or wasn't as heavy a drinker and couldn't keep up with his "friends ", what then? Is he still to blame. Fraternities are nothing more than dangerous cults that encourage excessive drinking and dangerous, reckless behavior. Those fraternity brothers were not his friends. And I am damn sick and vfc tired of hearing them referred to as his friends.
I have a friend who was drinking on his river dock. He fell in, and his brother dove in looking for him. He couldn't find him in the water. I can't remember who found the body, but it was found.
They literally found the poor kids credit card on the bank of the river. God I hope he was too drunk to realize what was going on and went without pain…
My uncle drowned in a river. It took 5 days for his body to resurface. Luckily they closed the damn so we could find him. I feel this families pain. I know what its like searching for a loved one. Especially near a river. 🙏🏼
@amberspillum9864I think it’s less likely, personally, doubt they’d stash his debit card in the rocks before they took off with him. I think he was trying to venture away from the cop, crossed paths with someone who took advantage of his vulnerability, and left him in the river afterwards. That is a horrible thing to say, but hopefully parents aren’t reading these comments. I think it’s just a realistic assumption. I understand why the police can’t legally say there’s been foul play, but that doesn’t mean they don’t assume it. Those frat boys need to be interrogated and so do all 3 bars, there’s got to be more information leading up to his disappearance. Too many ppl nowadays taking photos and recording, and not one soul has any of these from inside all 3 bars? If they aren’t releasing footage from inside the bar why he was present, giving a better explanation why he got kicked out, showing no empathy for not calling or allowing him to call Uber, there’s more to his disappearance than what’s being said. How many beverages did he have at the other bars, and the night in general? Why didn’t any of his “friends” call him an Uber, leave with him, or phone a his family? I have so many unanswered questions leading up to his disappearance. As for the debit card, it was too far away for him to have stumbled over those rocks and all that muck to accidentally fall that far into the water and accidentally drown, this isn’t an accident. I hope these families can somehow overcome their PTSD, and start fighting for justice before it’s too late to get more answers. How many drinks did he have in total? What time did those frat boys leave the bar? Did they leave before he came up missing? Too many unanswered questions is why he isn’t found.
It's a recovery now, not a search. He's in the water, he couldn't run without falling, could barely walk. How do you think his swimming skills would have been? Plus that water is cold this time of year, hypothermia would set in quick.
Looking at more videos is good. He indeed could have been picked up and then kicked out and he is in a homeless area. Do not lose hope. Bless you all. Let’s find him.
The Pascal Show here on UA-cam had a woman call in and give some details that I pray get to the family and the detectives regarding Riley. A lady named Sabrina said she serves the homeless out there and saw someone wearing a clean white shirt similar to the one Riley was wearing and she called it in to the police. She gives details on the people pulling a cart & his friend Rodin a bike, all these details are caught on camera. I pray he is found safely in Jesus name.🙏🏽
IMO if friends go anywhere together ,they should all leave together ,especially at night time in a different city Its a dangerous world out there now ..I am guessing his friends are very distraught and sorry . ITS So sad ,and the river nearby the direction he's alledgedly heading frightens me . My heart goes out to his family . Dear father in heaven please bring this young man safely home 🏡 for I ask it in your precious name Amen .🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
His friends, bouncers and owners of the bar should be ashamed of themselves. Any PROPER drinking establishment SHOULD have an uber, taxi, car on standby when a customer is showing signs of intoxication. Shame on all bars who do not have this regulation in place. They get highly paid.
I’m disgusted by the bar’s lack of compassion for this young man who clearly drank too much in their establishment. That’s not entirely on him. If you invite people in to your establishment to consume alcohol, you as sume some responsibility for getting them drunk. Throwing them out because they’re drunk and you’re not allowed to serve them more booze is just rotten.
I couldn't agree with you more. Imagine having a sober up lounge where you sit a spell, sober up or sleep it off a bit. You laid it out quite articulate, the bars liability. I blame the bar and his so called "friends ". They should all be very ashamed of themselves. I imagine that he is gone for good. May he RIP Poor kid.
@@ramblinmic6324 Thanks. I was 22 once, and learning my limits required me to test those limits. That’s how many people learn in this country. Young people are extremely vulnerable in a drunken state, and they should never be left alone like that. I can’t help but think if he was a female in such condition, the bouncers would have shown more compassion. I think they assumed a 6’6” guy would be “fine” on his own. Clearly, he wasn’t. I work with his roommate’s grandma, which is how I heard about it. It’s a remote job so I’ve never met these people. I’m sure all his frat brothers all wish they could go back and do things differently that night, in hindsight. They’re just kids learning how to drink, too, it’s easy to lose track of individuals when a whole group is out together in the best of conditions on a sunny day. It’s practically impossible at night, in unfamiliar territory with nothing but novelty to navigate with booze-addled brains. And People often leave bars with different people than they arrived with…and I have no doubts that a group of frat boys would indeed be looking for such opportunities. I remember a few mornings when I had to check on friends to make sure they got home okay after losing track of them during a wild night out. My friend Nikki once hopped on a boat at Harbor Park in CT (a bar on the river) and took off with some guy who had a bag of coke. Crazy times! Out of sheer luck, I never faced a regret like theirs. I blame the bouncers and other adults who were being paid to maintain order and safety for guests to their establishment.
It is clear from videos that this young man is not in his right frame of mind/coherent be it alcohol and or drugs. Prayers for his soul and his mothers grief.
The mother talked to him an hour before he left bar. Mother just listened to him tell her all the bar hopping and "fun" he was having. She didn't seem concerned he was drinking excessively and offer him motherly advice. But he was 22, not a child, a grown man. I can only imagine her guilt now. What a nightmare.
I pray he’s found. That hit on the head looked serious. Maybe he’s passed out somewhere in a coma. Anything is possible. I feel so bad for his family. Especially his mom. 🙏🥺
I pray for the family. God save the victim. This is the way our world is. But we have hero’s. And I love them and am proud of them. Here no one helped him. He needed it
The restaurant that asked him to leave, given the condition he was in, should have provided transportation. His friends fell way to short on making sure he got home safely!!!!!!
