That was the first time I listened to weather person that didn’t make me sick! You were very smart and weren’t dancing around like an idiot looking for attention. I hope you continue and get the respect you deserve. Thank you and wishing you a great career!🙏🏻 0:09
Pandanjis is possibly the best media presenter of complex tropical system information on the internet, taking sometimes obtuse and difficult subject matter and explaining it where common folk can digest and comprehend it. Excellent sir !!
I added KHOU to my weather favorites solely because of this guy. I was searching for more info on Lee and watched Tim Pandajis on Friday, September 8. I was very impressed by his in-depth knowledge of meteorology/hurricanes. Thank you and will look for him again.
I live on Long Island in NY. I have been a meteorological hobbyist for decades. Your explanation of what is going on with this hurricane and the complex atmosphere surrounding it and effecting it was superb! Thank you for that as it was very refreshing compared to others in your field of work. This was my first time watching you on anything. Great job! Two thumbs up! Five starts!
Thank you so much! We live on the Nantucket Sound side of Cape Cod and are watching developments carefully. This was a very thorough, informative presentation.
Tim..... Why aren't you on a NATIONAL NETWORK! Your coverage is some of the best I've ever seen!,Any way you can get us some desperately needed rain in Phoenix, Arizona?
These are the most comprehensive, educational, and interesting weather reports! WOW! We live on Carolina Beach near Wilmington and are riveted to your reports. Thanks for your reporting!
You did a good job. We live in a MH just inland from Charleston, SC, and rely on reports such as this one to decide whether and when to evacuate. Even when it is just a best guess, which seems to cover almost all weather forecasting, good information and insightful reporting is very welcome.
at 2:00 that forecast in Louisiana, can't imagine that wind where is located at. but that wind was strong. i live in the fields and you can just see the weather so clearly. this is educational, thanks for the report
Every time I watch this man do a forecast, I'm in a very interesting College class. I Thank him for treating his audience like we are intelligent-minus the sensationalism.
I live near Raleigh, NC. I am beyond impressed With your weather presentation. You make Learning a joy. Thanks. It is crystal clear you Know what you are Talking about. Blessings.
I've lived in the northeast all my life and I know these models can change over 2-3 days. The models have changed slightly over the last 2 days with Lee and a slight change, sometimes, can make all the difference.
I mean I’m from NJ and MA. There was hurricane Sandy and it wasn’t even a big deal. It was no different than a bad snow storm, minus the jersey shore that got hit with water. But by October no one is hanging at the shore. And MA hasn’t seen anything ever. This hurricane isn’t impacting ANYONE. Besides Nova Scotia and I don’t think people are that concerned about it. The water is so cold up there, it’s not gonna be a Katrina or Matthew or Andrew. It’s just gonna be like a Sandy if ANYTHING at most. And I even doubt that…. Like I really DOUBT that. No one I know from NJ or New England is talking about this, and many don’t even know there’s anything coming. And when I told my brother in NYC about this, he went “wherever.” Bc people don’t care. 😂 Hurricanes up there is like every 100 years. My parents are in their 60’s and haven’t been in one hurricane their entire life until Hurricane Ian last year in Florida. Like snow storms are the concern up there and maybe a tornado during a summer? Like maybe and that’s a stretch. The ice storm in MA in 2008 was more catastrophic than Sandy. People from all over New England were in zero temps, no power, couldn’t go on the roads, driving to other states, power lines and trees down… that was scarier than Sandy. Like I remember that impact way more than anything else.
The past didn't have global warming. This year and the next ones are different. They may combine. Nothing we have seen before. Now that makes sense huh. Stay safe❤
I actually thought Lee had slightly weakened because it was undergoing an eyewall replacement cycle, but you did a good job of explaining this wind shear
When you have an eyewall replacement cycle , you will still see the eye but it will appear to have double edges Almost a Target appearance with concentric bands... And that's exactly what it is. Narrow bands of thunderstorms within the eye trying to intensify and become the main eyewall.
Okay the YT algon is working. That was awesome. We have a big family vacation 16-23 on Martha's Vineyard. Hmm might be sketchy. Some by ferry and others by twin engine prop. Hmmm.
A 2 mph difference between a category 4 and 5 is nothing. They make it sound like it's the end of the world if they call it a 5 instead of a 4. Still a devastating storm if it were to hit land.
Excellent Edu! We are sitting on a 54' boat in Buzzards Bay, thinking the NE quadrant of LEE is not what we want to see. We're thinking, we should move south to Long Island Sound or Chesapeake Bay for safety and avoid some risks.
Hurricane Prediction: Hope for the BEST, prepare for the WORSE. That thing can shift its track like a tornado, which us what a hurricane is. A tornado thats in the water. Both have counter clockwise rotation.
Last time we had a "Lee" the rain hit PA/NY (and others) and caused the flood of a century in 2011. You can understand my nervousness. Stay out to sea.
Watch Out Florida Lee Coming too visit east Cost going too west cost It's time we get a CAT5 So lucky all summer But Lee has our day to visit us . We can't be lucky for Ever this summer 2023.
By the time that they finally get on with it, as for its present position and not its former location, it'll have already passed us, even if we lived in Newfoundland!
Hope it gets pushed more to the east out into the ocean bc I live in northern jersey and I’m realy close to the shore new jersey is right on the coast so hope wind shears kill it or push it right into the ocean away from USA and Canada
North Jersey isnt close to the shore. Thats a 2-3 hour drive from us. Weve had bad storms but i can’t remember the last time we really got hit by a bad storm and it actually affected North Jersey, it usually just destroys south jersey.
Hurricans will change finding the least resistant or just run through cause it wobbles possble change. Hurrican on a mission to stay on course and the High pressure and fronts that help us
So the southerly jet stream dip keeps the huricane away? Confident prediction allready? I mean it´s 4 days but the jet stream dip´s stable enough to justify confidence?
Great broadcast i feel informed after watching and ill be tuning for future updates.
Tim pandajis is by far the best meteorologist on television!! Thanks for educating us about these storms for years!!🙏
UA-cam favorite for Hurricanes 🏆
By far the best explanation of Lee amongst 100 .Thank you for your time and efforts.

Stay out at sea, Lee!! Thank you for these updates- we are watching Lee closely here in South Florida.
Yes, please.... I'm 1500 miles away and watching intensely in case I need to rush back home to South Florida to buckle down the house... 😞

You definitely go out your way to help people understand the forecast and provide various examples. Really appreciate it!
You are a great Meteorologist. Really detailed analysis and understandable.
great overview. I watch a lot of forecast videos, yours was interesting, educating, and thorough!
Watching 🌪️ 🌊 since at least 2017 thanks Tim's teachings.

I also like his very dapper elegant classical weatherman style.
God bless you and protect you.
It’s not going to hit land anyways dong worry about it
Never watched you before. You gave an excellent explanation of hurricane Lee. Thank you.

Hopefully it misses the states all together and hits Canada weaker than what it is now. I dont wish a cat 4/5 on anyone

Excellent presentation
GAIA is a beautiful thing to see in action.
Love how you explain the details!!!
Great explanation miss you in Norfolk
It's gonna be a Smasher wherever it hits
Thank you 🙏🏻
wow, very informative. thanks
I actually thought Lee had slightly weakened because it was undergoing an eyewall replacement cycle, but you did a good job of explaining this wind shear
IIRC a replacement cycle only happens when the storm has maintained a steady pressure for days.
When you have an eyewall replacement cycle , you will still see the eye but it will appear to have double edges Almost a Target appearance with concentric bands... And that's exactly what it is. Narrow bands of thunderstorms within the eye trying to intensify and become the main eyewall.
Coolest person I've seen. Very smart stuff. Kudos.
Thanks for mentioning Bermuda… many weather people completely ignore it, focusing only on the U.S.
You are a good weatherman. You explain so clearly.❤
Love this guy!!!!
Thankyou Very informative
We're thinking. That's comforting!
Florida Keys here! Watching closely. We don't need another Irma.
fr, I’m in fl too and people are STILL recovering, we don’t need another one 😭😭😭
I'm on Long Island. Been watching. I find it really amazing how fast it intensified. A lot can change. Hopefully it will stay away from land.
Thank god it missed PR , fish storm ❤😊

Ideally it does not hit the Bahamas , which its looking like it will miss. They still have not fully recovered form Dorian several years back.
great work!

It looks to me like it will turn north before hitting the coastline.
Aww I miss seeing your face up in VA
Hurricane Prediction: Hope for the BEST, prepare for the WORSE. That thing can shift its track like a tornado, which us what a hurricane is. A tornado thats in the water. Both have counter clockwise rotation.
i dont think there is a "channel" between bermuda and the coast. the gulf stream maybe. but not a "channel"
Jetstream will keep it offshore, cooler water further north will weaken it.
Didn’t they say that about Ian?
@@JigglesLovely I do not recall.
Jetstream is still yet to be determined lol
It'd be funny if the storm ignored all the predicted paths and just beelined straight into Florida.
...not that I wish this of course.

It was actually a category 5 this morning, but went back down to category 4

Bermuda, I didn’t realize how isolated the island truly is
Oof, it's boiling mad
In other words, nothing to worry about unless you live in the Maritime provinces..unless they are wrong, as they were last night and today...
They've been wrong this entire storm. I don't trust this at all...
@@aquasnek5487where were they wrong? It was mostly predicted to become a cat 5 and go back down to cat 4, it did.
Maybe this can put out some of those forest fires up north!
Not "wind shear", more like lee started splitting from NEXRAD and else shooting frequencies towards it.
