OMG! This recording is FANTASTIC. I played it along a treeline in a parking lot early morning. A wren flew right up and landed ON MY TRUCK MIRROR like Two feet from my face. Lol. He looked right at me. Then he flew back to a tree 20 ft behind me. He startled me. GREAT QUALITY AUDIO HERE! They LOVE IT!
I wish I had a camera but I had my phone with this Carolina Wren playing sitting on my back porch. Then I heard a live Carolina Wren talking back to it. I came closer and the live wren was sitting in front of your recording and the picture looking at it talking back. So cute. Thanks for sharing this.
Mt favorite Bird! They go through my potted plants daily looking for bugs. I took some extreme close-ups of one- did you notice their eyes are tipped down at an angle to see bugs below better? I love their feisty attitude with that tail up. Thanks- good recordings!
A momma wren built her nest in an Amazon box that is hanging in my cabaña. One baby is in the nest… I use this video during the day & it’s amazing how it draws the momma & daddy! The only thing that concerns me is that the baby doesn’t chirp! Is it normal for wren chicks not to chirp??? ❤

I think carolina wrens are my spirit animal.... whatever that means lol. I just absolutely adore these inquisitive super smart little birdies
