Omg I heard the sound in me backyard if the carolina wren and I put on the sound of it on my phone and the wren was replying to it I did not think it would work
I heard a wren singing and mimicked it and it flew up to my deck. I did it again while it was there and it looked at me with a puzzled look and flew to a tree nearby. Awesome!
OMG yes so I've been trying to ID this "natural alarm clock" that's been waking me up nearly every morning this Spring with his song. I've seen these little guys in the afternoons and evenings making their little "cricket chirps" but I didn't realize these were the chattery-singers as well. Such a big voice in such a small package. Thanks 😎👍
It's 1am and I've finally found the culprit.. one of these has been singing right outside my bedroom window from midnight to 2am almost every day for the past week🤦♂️
Street lights and out door porch lights keep them up. If you can use automatic lights that turn on only if the sensor goes off. Much better for our ecosystem.
These are my 2nd favorite bird behind Eastern bluebird. This handsome bird is packed with personality and loud songs to be so small. Just had a batch of babies fledge their nest 2 days ago tucked into a cabinet in my detached garage. Last year I had a nest hanging on my back screened porch that was missing the door. That mom made her nest inside one of the big pouches of a very nice suede tool belt. And we were on the porch all the time and passed it within 12 inches constantly. It was the cutest thing ever. Just another reason to love these birds, because they are so accepting of humans when really it's humans that are accepting of them, because we allow them into our domain.
This is the bird I call the cheeseburger bird. Hear it all the time when out hunting. Sounds to me like "cheeseburger, cheeseburger, chee" . Glad I finally indentified it. Thanks for posting.
My favorite birds. After we had a nest and watched them until they flew away I made a stained glass picture of a mama and her babies to hang on the porch
Do to a 14 day migraine, I haven't been out in nature in forever. Laying in bed being able to listen to this 30 minutes of nature and hear this darling birds singing and calling is absolute heaven on earth ♥ Thank you so much for this. Happy weekend and big like 13
I feel for you and your interminable migraine...I also get them. Mine are now just chronic daily headache. They are one of the (many) reasons I am a devoted birder. I always feel better when I keep in touch with nature. Best wishes fellow traveler!
We used to hear them, not knowing what bird it was my granddaughter and I called it the"jubly bird", until I saw one close up singing it's jubly jubly. While I play this there is one not too far chirping the same as from the phone. I did the cardinal songs before and sure enough, a male came close by and looked around.
We discoverered a Wren, one night recently, right outside our back door on our porch. He was sleeping in a hanging wind chime that looks like a tiny birdhouse made from a coconut. The Wren comes to the porch every night around 6:15. I know he's there because I hear him announce himself as he arrives at his 'hotel' for the night. I watched this evening as he got into the tiny structure and made himself ready to spend the night. It was a pretty amusing sight to watch him try and scooch into the tiny little house. The little house fitted to the wind chime, is not quite big enough for the whole bird. His tail sticks out, which is how we knew he was there in the first place, but he seems content to be there on these cold nights, so we leave him be. I love these little birds so much ♥️
I'm learning more than I expected. Not able to go BIRD WATCHING. Watching this video I had no idea these sounds were from a WREN. IVE SEEN them at our bird feeders now I know how they sound. Beautiful and so helpful videos. Thank you.
❤️🥰We moved to Alabama, one of these landed right in front of me. I had to look it up, thank you. They have the back yard sounding so lovely, with my cup of coffee ☕️ this morning. I’ve also had the pleasure of seeing a hummingbird mouth! I moved from Michigan. They say they live their also! I’ve never seen one! 🍁🍂
Sounds like he's saying "procedure, procedures procedure" or sometimes "cheater cheater cheater". They are all around our house and very loud! My hubby and I always joke that they're telling on the other spouse for something. Lol. Even sometimes sound like they're saying names like "Judy or Jimmy". Haha
oh myyyy. I finally found it. A bird lover told me its a wren. I looked and looked many times b4. This bird for several years non stop from b4 the crack of dawn and alllll day. Doobidy doobidy doobity doobidy. New birds this year. Thank goodness.
I'm here because my cat was just chasing one of these through my house and once I got it back outside to safety, it perched on a low limb, looked at me, and chirped a sound I didn't recognize. I wanted to see if I could find it recorded because I'm low-key wanting to believe it was a SPECIAL kind of 'thank you'... 🤦🏽♀️🤣
hi my friend are you living nearly here because you always can upload this nice beautiful geographical nature with natural sounds of singing birds. so relaxing really. I love also nature.
I have a pair nesting on my balcony, and the dad likes to sing with me, he'll sing and I'll try to imitate whistling, and he'll do it again. The babies just started chirping yesterday, it's delightful
Love this sound 💕 we have a lovely Carolina Wren who likes to come back to our porch to nest every year in our camping chairs! The eggs for this year just hatched 🥰
I was trying to identify a pair of birds I’d just seen in my backyard, and played this to see if they had the same call. Not only did it match, but one of them flew over to investigate, sat on the tree next to me for a moment, and then flew away! Amazing! Such pretty birds too!
Bird Geek here - I’ve done the same with the Audubon app. Interesting responses - especially from territorial birds. Didn’t realize I had annoyed a male Cardinal. He did a dipping slow fly-by to check me out. His head was turned 90 degrees as he went by, giving me a dirty look. The head-turned, side-glance was very funny! (I let him reclaim his territory and establish bird dominance before he circled back for a poop-attack or dive bombing.)
We had some nesting on our porch, and the babies fledged just the other day. Because it was nice outside during the nights, I would have my window open overnight. My window is right above the porch, so every morning, I would hear the mother doing the call that you hear at about the 0:12 mark. It was such a wonderful sound to wake up to.
🎬🎞Thank you for sharing, watching the film is very easy and happy, but this process of shooting video editing only know their own hardships, we worked hard. Thank you for keeping the good in us.
One of my favorite birds! I had a pair that would come to my balcony, I realized from watching them that they LOVE peanuts and mealworms (they we're actually the only ones eating the mealworms during the winter). So I placed a feeder out specifically where they would go to feast, and I made a mix of peanut halves without the shell, and dried mealworms. Not only are they beautiful, and have beautiful calls, but they are also super interesting to watch! Also they are pretty "clean" compared to other birds in regards to how they eat ive noticed
I love hearing people's mneumonic interpretations of what it sounds like. I have always heard and nicknamed that descending call at 0:45 the tree-eater bird.
2:37 The bird in the background, sings just four notes. Better 3:16 I've only heard this elusive bird at about 4:30 a.m. to daybreak and again at dusk. Really want to know what bird is singing my favorite song! Just four notes repeated, but so soft and mellow, I could listen to it pretty much all day. Thank you for sharing!
@@GoTrails Oh MY GOODNESS~ Thank you so very much! Yes! That is the bird I have been seeking for at least a decade. EDIT: So sad to learn they only live a few years - my heart is broken!

After about 20 minutes, I said, oh, that video is still on, so I turned it off. Well, my little wren was having quite the conversation with the video! He's been hanging around a lot at the feeder and has brought his mate along. Thanks for posting!

I've done this with wrens before. They'll go back and forth with you for hours. Really entertaining.
They are oddly friendly & curious
Id like to see that puzzled look! lol
That’s so endearing! Chickadees exhibit that same behavior. ☺️
