I enjoyed it too even though pedophilia normally is a DNF for me but I was driving listening to the audiobook and couldn’t download another one so I finished it.
I don't often get freaked out by thrillers, but Nightwatching by Tracy Sierra had me HOOKED and flipping pages. It's about a home invasion when the MC is home alone with her two young children. Definitely went in a direction I wasn't expecting, and I absolutely loved it.
I loved The Teacher, I absolutely devoured it. Was it good? Yes. Was it GOOOOOOOOD? Nope. I loved it, I read it a few months ago and I just had so much fun
the only thriller i REALLY liked was "None of this is true" by Lisa Jewell, literally could not put it down!! very interesting and engaging, highly recommend
The Last One by Will Dean is the last thriller I read. Nearly every chapter ends on a cliffhanger and this story had me in a CHOKEHOLD. It was dumb and I loved every minute of it. Highly recommend!!
I think you should give The Only One Left by Riley Sager a try. I liked Lock Every Door by him but not really any others by him but I LOVED that one recently. Maybe try that one before you write him off for good!
Want to read a thriller? Stephen King’s The Long Walk. If you liked The Hunger Games but want to be scared, read TLW. SK did the whole idea much better. And scarier. When the first gunshot happened I dropped the book. Literally dropped it into my lap.
Drowning by T.J. Newman is the better book by the author of Falling, in my opinion. It's also about a plane, but the plane is crashed and goes underwater with passengers still inside. Drowning is a little slower paced than Falling, but it is still thrilling.
I really liked The Teacher too. And feel like I get judged for it 😂 The twist at the end really got me. Have you read My Best Friends Exorcism by Grady Hendrix? It’s campy, funny, and creepy. I recently read it finally and feel like it might be something you would like 😅
I’m not sure how much you’ll be interested in this, but I really enjoyed That’s Not My Name by Megan Lally even though I don’t usually find myself having the best luck with YA books recently as I’ve gotten older
As a teacher, The Teacher just made me too uncomfortable and the twist at the end was not it. It also didn't help that I just watched a documentary Betrayal that was about a similar thing so... But it was a quick and easy read so I definitely want to read some of her other books.
If you have a strong stomach and want to be scared? The outsider by stephen king. Scariest thing I have ever read! But definitely not for the faint of heart
Here for the Thrillers lol 😂 I do avoid Freida McFadden since I usually find her writing terrible 😬 I would recommend First Lie Wins and The Last House on Needless Street. Both excellent thrillers.
I like thrillers as audiobooks and I don’t think I’m terribly picky. But i listened to about 20% of one Riley Sager book and quickly realized that author is not for me. Same with Grady Hendrix - no thanks
I appreciate your thoughts but feel like you do spoil without trying to. 😢 for example...saying something like I did like the direction the book went instead of I like that it didn't go paranormal. That kind of thing. None of this is said with disrespect and I think it's awesome that you share your thoughts but just a thought. Stay well.
@asniech that makes sense. I prefer a bit of blindness as far as that stuff but I get it because say...a trigger for me...I'd want to know so I can understand that perspective.

the highlighted hair is such a move
The teacher was ridiculous, but it got me out of a reading slump and was entertaining 😭

i loved this book too but it also infuriated me, the real thriller was
SPOILERS
.
what it’s like to be a woman and not be believed 😅
“The Last House on Needles Street “ ….weird, confusing book but I loved it !
I feel like Riley Sager is such a hit or miss author for so many people
The Teacher… 5⭐️for me. I loved it!!!
I loved The Teacher, I absolutely devoured it. Was it good? Yes. Was it GOOOOOOOOD? Nope. I loved it, I read it a few months ago and I just had so much fun
Lock every door is actually really good
the only thriller i REALLY liked was "None of this is true" by Lisa Jewell, literally could not put it down!! very interesting and engaging, highly recommend
For a thriller/mystery, I highly recommend The Wife Between Us by Greer Hendricks & Sarah Pekkanen. The audiobook was great. I’ve listened twice.
The Last One by Will Dean is the last thriller I read. Nearly every chapter ends on a cliffhanger and this story had me in a CHOKEHOLD. It was dumb and I loved every minute of it. Highly recommend!!

Love the vid!! Also your hair looks gorgeous omg 💜

You're hilarious 😂 had so much fun watching this !
You are so right about the vlogs. I fully did not realize the vlogs I’ve seen are on another channel omg 🤣
The hair 👏🏻
It's been a long time since I've been scared by a book. Maybe I'm just extremely desensitised at this point.
Unrelated to the thriller talk, that Beauty of Joseon sunscreen is so good
it is!!
seriously it's literally my holy grail, tried like 8+ sunscreens before that and now i've found it there's no going back
i never read thrillers but the one i have read is they never learn by layne fargo! its ridiculous but very fun, sapphic, "good for her" vibes for sure
Oh my gosh, you have NO idea how excited I am for this video!!! So happy I found your channel!!!❤🎀❤🎀❤🎀❤🎀
You and your hair look SO PRETTY!
thank you
I would recommend The Last Word by Taylor Adams for a fast-paced, kinda ridiculous, but highly entertaining popcorn thriller
I totally agree with you on The Falling…other UA-camr was raving about this book but I was disappointed…
Drowning by T.J. Newman is the better book by the author of Falling, in my opinion. It's also about a plane, but the plane is crashed and goes underwater with passengers still inside. Drowning is a little slower paced than Falling, but it is still thrilling.
omfg that's double nightmare fuel
@chandlerainsley a fun fact about the author is that she's a former flight attendant, so she has first-hand experience about plane procedures.
I really liked The Teacher too. And feel like I get judged for it 😂
The twist at the end really got me. Have you read My Best Friends Exorcism by Grady Hendrix? It’s campy, funny, and creepy. I recently read it finally and feel like it might be something you would like 😅
One of my favourite books! And there’s a Spotify playlist that’s so good to go with it! 👻💜
I’m not sure how much you’ll be interested in this, but I really enjoyed That’s Not My Name by Megan Lally even though I don’t usually find myself having the best luck with YA books recently as I’ve gotten older

As a teacher I have purposefully avoided this book. No ma’am. Lol😂
If you want something stupid to read I recommend The Dragon's Gride by Katee Robert.
If you have a strong stomach and want to be scared? The outsider by stephen king. Scariest thing I have ever read! But definitely not for the faint of heart
don’t let her stay by nicola sanders is a great page turner!!
If you want to be actually scared but without paranormal aspects, you might want to read a slasher instead of thrillers
I recommend Drowning also by TJ Newman. I enjoyed it better than Falling.
Omg can I be in the dumb betch book club pleaseeee I love that sweater!
join us haha the sweatshirt is available in my shop :)
Have you read “ The Last Thing To Burn” by Will Dean ?? ….it is about DV…I gave this book 5⭐️ …but it is heavy…
Here for the Thrillers lol 😂 I do avoid Freida McFadden since I usually find her writing terrible 😬
I would recommend First Lie Wins and The Last House on Needless Street. Both excellent thrillers.
I love her books !!!!!
@@bilhawere7720totally fair! I know she is a popular author.
💗💗💗
Where did you get your shirt from when you’re talking about The Teacher? 😅
abercrombie :) it's a mens shirt
"Falling" sounds so disappointing. Too much exposition can't be saved by a frenetic pace I agree!
I like thrillers as audiobooks and I don’t think I’m terribly picky. But i listened to about 20% of one Riley Sager book and quickly realized that author is not for me. Same with Grady Hendrix - no thanks
I feel the same exact way with Riley Sager. I think I’m going to skip this one
❤❤❤
❤
girl what lippie are you wearing in the teacher clips!!!
The Teacher's ending ruined it for me. She just cant help herself adding another plot twist. It was ridicuoous and intoduced plot holes.
oh 100% haha

yeah that’s always going to be the case, i’m sorry!
I prefer to know up front if I'm reading a book with supernatural aspects. I want to at least know what world I'm working in.
@asniech that makes sense. I prefer a bit of blindness as far as that stuff but I get it because say...a trigger for me...I'd want to know so I can understand that perspective.
i wholeheartedly recommend kill for me, kill for you by steve cavanagh. its far fetched as fuuuck but wildly entertaining
