Also yes call out the ableist thinking that audiobooks aren’t “real books”!!
5 books is amazing!!!!
Audiobooks are great for cleaning, doing a puzzle, ect!! However I find it hard to listen to some of the voices that are super robotic. I Love when the author reads their own work because they know how to express their own work!! Thriller is my fav genre!!
It makes it so much better when the author reads their own book! I also love when it’s a fiction book and every character has its own voice actor and there is background noises!
Do an Audiobook I would totally listen to you read a book
I used to get bullied for my voice so I can’t tell if you’re joking or not 🤪
@@sam.kwiatkowski I am absolutely not joking I am dyslexic so the way I read books is listen to them because although I can read, I don’t comprehend the same as when I listen and your voice is very soothing to me. Love you and I love you and your wife think you guys are fabulous.

thrillers have always been my fav besides romance but i’ve been wanting to get into fantasy ik that’s you’re fav 😆 recommendations?
I love fantasy!!! I personally started with reading all of the Sarah J Mass books and have been hooked on fantasy ever since!
I was about to ask you to drop your skincare routine, but then I saw you already did.
I don't usually comment but as a side note: I had covid in 2021 and had a literal 5 month long migraine/headache. I did need to start and sinus medication and even today I still get more migraines. I am finally seeing a neurologist to look over my mri results this month (fellow Canadian, different province). I waited 3 months to see my doctor, don't wait that long.
If you are 6 weeks post covid with still getting these headaches/migraines go to your doctor/clinic.
Also thank you for changing my opinion in audiobooks. I haven't been able to read very much since I had covid. My eyes just don't work the same and I went to see if my city library supports Libby and it does! I was so happy I literally cried. I have missed reading so much in the last 2.5 years. Thank you Sam.

I used to use Audible but I’m trying to use the Libby app now to save money!
Sam, thank you for supporting audiobooks counting as reading. I had a friend who was blind, and i totally support they do count as reading for someone who can't physically see the pages of a book.
