To answer most of your questions and some backsstory if you're interested. ;) They recorded a special episode because the Eurovision song contest is held in the netherlands next week, which is an honor for the hosting country with an annual global audience of 200 million viewers (our King even went to see the stage build-up in Rotterdam Ahoy!) and involves a lot of special programming and media attention in general leading up to the event. So they recorded a special episode for Beste Zangers in a barn in The Netherlands instead of on Ibiza as they usually would, also due to covid. 14 days quarantine is mandatory after departure and arrival in most European countries at the moment. The show is probably recorded at least a few weeks ago, which would be much of a risk for Floor to fly over with her planned operation or could have meant that Floor would still be in quarantine.
