- Salons in California have been forced to cease operations indoors, so many barbers and hairdressers are taking to the great outdoors - their parking lots. Salon owner and stylist Dani Lyn is hosting appointments on her patio, and taking every precaution. She sanitizes chairs between clients, wears a mask and face shield, and ensures that clients use hand sanitizer and a mask. She hopes that if she can show safe operations, salon owners will be able to operate inside sooner than later. #InsideEdition
Here's a crazy idea....Couldn't they just used a hose outside to wash that lady's hair? Rather then sending her home?

Unfortunately many salons have 8 or more stylists and there is simply not enough room outside to continuously set up & put away that many heavy salon chairs and equipment outside on a daily basis as well as all the canopies & eazy-ups required to house that many stylists & clients at the same time.
It's a logistical nightmare for many salons.

Some of you really should try to understand that this isn't about the client but the stylist. Most of the self employed have not qualified for alot of benefits during this pandemic. Shes trying to survive and I dont blame her. It's no bigger risk than having to go to the grocery store at this point, the virus to me is that out of hand. People stay safe and wear a mask wherever you go.

I already know I'm going to be one of those chill grandmas that won't dye their grey/white hair. I'm 21 and have never ever dyed my hair. I can't afford it at the moment and I feel like it must be crazy expensive to keep going to the hair salon every couple of months. The hair is gonna grow out, your roots will show, and the color will fade. Doesn't sound like much fun to me. Same for nails. Had them done once. They lasted a whole MONTH. And my nails were so outgrown. I literally tore my fingernails ripping them away. Left me with bloody fingertips. Big fat no from me.
