Stuff happens Mike. It’s ok. Part failure is a part failure. No one can control that. Should be an easy fix, belt, coolant line, burp the cooling system.
When that belt took a dump did the shrapnel tear up any wiring? That’s what I would look at. With that belt shredding so soon in the build, I would assume that you have a pulley alignment issue. Keep us posted!!!

Besides the coolent line and the belt you should replace the tensioner its usually the reason why the belt becomes loose the beakes off.

They make a nice all aluminum trailer that's also on airbags. It drops down to the ground to make loading low cars a lot easier. It's not that highly priced either.

Love the C6 Zr1 mike can’t wait to see some of the things you do with that car. Also I am going to miss the corado I remember the day you first revealed that car to us back in the day. But I am happy that now it’s going back to its true owner and will hopefully get daily driven again.

Mike I have a 22 foot aluminum car trailer from featherlight with removable fenders and e trac Tor downs. My lowered c6 gos on perfect with out any actra stuff. And it had a big guard on the front so rocks don’t hit it. I would highly recommend it with the winch like I have as well.
The C6 ZR1 is peak Better in my books. Super clean lines, manual, crazy power and looks absolutely killer in yellow. Down the road, I think it will be thie highest appreciating modern Vette! Well done on the build!

I’ve seen LMR cut some corners on C7 cam installs. Breaking a belt that soon sounds like you have some belt alignment issues related to the install.

Check pulley alignment. My duramax did the same thing. Ate 3 belts in 2 weeks. Water pump pulley walked out 1/4in which is enough to eat belts

Did you see the c6 z06 Doug just reviewed it’s for sale on cars and bids. 43k miles and it’s red and manual. I’m not a fan of red but dang does it look so good in red.
Looks like an electrical issue in the steering column of the Ram. Probably an issue with the key switch assembly.
He just flooded everything in the engine bay! If it had been electrical it wouldn't have started right up the next day or whenever he went back! He could've pulled off the breather and distributor and pulled the plugs to dry everything out and would've cranked
Need a 24 valve Cummins swap in your ram and btw those trucks have a flooding issue from factory along with a constant flaw in charging system

Probably the original OEM belt that was on before all the new motor work.
I had an accessory drive belt take out a metal brake line as it came apart. So yeah, it could have been way worse. BTW, the ZR1 looks amazing with the street wheels and tires.

I’m not a major mechanic either but with the Ram Charger it could definitely be timing related.
I believe the ram could have been hot and hydro locked and wasn't getting enough fuel to run until it cooled down if it happens again take your gas cap off and try driving then. Just a thought.

Tearing bc it has too much horse power. Who can claim that? Or like having bald tires....most people coudlnt spin their tires if they try to lol. This is a good thing. Lmr built a monster. I just hope those tires are big enough for it..... this thing needs big meats. For sure. Can't wait to see it come back!

Idle air control valve is why it dies. Starter is going out is why it gives trouble restarting.
So making me miss my 89 Ramcharger. And I know how to fix almost all the running issues, I suffered through most of them…
