- Today, we headed back down to @DRAGWIRESOLUTIONS to continue to work on the racecar. Ideally, everything I'm doing would have been done BEFORE I took the car to him for wiring. But timing just wasn't right on my end, and I needed to get the car in his shop so he could start on it. Luckily, he is allowing me to work on mine as he is working on it as well.... I wish someone like Cleetus would promote John's UA-cam channel. I would love to see John get 3 to 400 thousand subscribers. He deserves it.
He does attend the Christmas tree race every year and Garret has shouted him out in the Christmas tree race videos. Both drag race but in two completely different disciplines of drag racing. Most fans want to see times on the boards.
Yep ! Same reason John doc channel grows so slow even though he has way better cars then cleetus so far . Watching videos and having no times sucks . Least John tells times when he’s testing .

John, motion race works makes a nice remote mount sensor manifold, mount it up on firewall, run braided like from back of block to manifold, then everything is easily accessible. Could even add one of those quick release fittings onto the line, then you would never have to mess with the back of the block
Looking at your chassis work tells me I did mine correct. I cut the front off mine at the firewall and built new strut towers and all the bars necessary to mount the k member and motor plate. Looks very similar to what Mike did to yours. I’m ready to hear this big block bust off!!

Could you just run a soft line right from the nipple that you put in the block? Maybe use a remote sensor block? Car is coming together nicely can’t wait to see it get down👍

My ign box is zip tied to the dash. Battery cable goes through a piece of heater hose through the firewall. Both work perfectly and cost very little
What's all this long travel about? That Frankenstein Corvette is kicking butt on some rowdy surfaces and it's basically a low slung promod. I wonder what they have figured out?
You'll never see Frankenstein win Dig or Die. The surface is just shy of being a dirt road. Long travel and weight in the back is what it takes. It seems to me as though John builds his cars around that event.
Ya your talking the difference between front track no prep and back of the track no prep . No where near the same thing . Frankenstein isn’t going rounds at dig or die set up like that .

White Teflon tape is not good for petroleum products. Years as a truck mechanic i learned the hard way. It will always fall.
Easy rule of thumb for teflon tape wrapping is face the fitting away from you in your left hand then turn the fitting towards you and wrap from the bottom to the top. Away from you away from you. Great job on the Mustang.
