Hi Dave, greetings from Kentucky. We're getting ready for Thanksgiving this week. We have much to be thankful for. Best wishes coming your way. Take care
Hey Clinton, hope thanks giving goes well 🙂. Its something that doesn't get celebrated this side of the world so I'll have to wait for Christmas! Thanks for watching and take care 🙂👍
Really really enjoyed this video!! That generator is awesome!! I’d love to have one like that! You scored on that one!! Great video Dave it may be time for a new camera ( or there mite have been oil on the lens, I have to be really careful I don’t do that) cause it’s really blurry at times and better lighting would be great to but other than that loved it, thanks for posting take care!!
Thanks Darrell. I got oil on the lens, plus I was using a small LED flood for extra light which makes things worse. I've got new leds ready to install so hopefully that'll help. Im also trying to figure out what camera to buy. What camera do you use? The quality is really good.
Thanks Ants! I'll see how she runs with the welder on her. It had more hours on it than I remembered. Thanks again for watching. I must look at more of the cabin restoration videos later 🙂👍
Just subscribed to your channel, love your videos especially the Range Rover episodes was going to look at an L332 this coming weekend same year and milage as your own for same purpose for the farm and other work ,a bit apprehensive about it don’t want to get stuck with a lemon ,
Donal, thanks for watching and subscribing! The biggest thing to watch, if it's a TD6, is the gearbox. It's a common failure and probably the single most expensive repair. By that mileage I'd expect it to have been replaced. Also see if there's any evidence of the box being serviced. The other biggie is rust. They rot out under the plastic sill covers and the subframes so check carefully. Check the DOE sheet from it's last test for advisories. If you can, take a good scan tool with you as well. Check for water ingress (including the spare wheel well). They are a great thing to drive, but be ready for the economy (10-12mpg running up and down to fields here). Everything here is over prices as well so don't pay too much. Good luck with it, come back to me if you need anymore advice.
Good stuff, Dave
Thanks! Hopefully I'll get her to run next time!
Good job getting it going!
Thanks Karl. Glad I did it as there's a huge storm approaching so I may need it.

Clinton, hope all is well, hope you were nowhere near that Tornado and that you and yours are safe and well.
Nice piece of kit Dave certainly a good bit of equipment I wish I had 🙈 and you never could have too many projects 😉😉👍👍
Its a bad year for buying generators, prices are over inflated! Too many projects 😅. Thanks again for supporting the channel 🙂👍

I use a go pro 8 but it’s a love hate relationship
I really don't know what to buy. Its filming with artificial light is my biggest issue, especially if I need to zoom in.
