Will the tray mount insert itself fit into a standard 2” hitch. I wouldn’t have a need for the receiver bracket. Would like to use it in my standard factory installed rear hitch receiver but there are no dimensions on the male side insert anywhere for this product. If you could confirm it would be MUCH appreciated.
It might be the camera parallax but it looks like if viewed straight on from the side that it’s mounted at a slant. Not quite parallel to the vertical lines on the Jeep and it’s making my eye twitch a bit.
I have seen many XT videos that have been shot on the road. No disparaging the vid, but the absence of showing the final result is like showing a tire carrier to fit a larger tire, and not showing the tire. Maybe a side shot with a FULL jerrycan while off-road would be nice. Thanks y’all.
MORryde makes one for the JK, I'm sure its only a matter of time before one gets made for the JL as well! Keep your eyes out for it on our website! -Zach
The angle of this video looks a little funky with how the door line and the mount line up. It does indeed sit in front of the door line so you will have full access and functionality to your door, Jerry can or not!

12 minutes and never put a can on the carrier
Where's the can? The critical part is missing?
Like that mount, would be great if they made one for my JL.

Correct me if I'm wrong: this would restrict the opening/swing of the doors (?) Video should have deal with this (along with the jerry can in place).

You're missing the center cap on the back wheel
Couldn't you use this in your regular 2" receiver or swing out tire carrier hitch?
Ill probably end up getting 2 of them just to match both sides. Lol. I would like to know how much room for opening the doors it leaves
I know, I was hoping he would open the door so we could see how much clearance there is
@@AI-ms7yr me too. Lol
And you would probably need to put something on the side to prevent scratching the door. From the angle it looks like you would bang the door on it.
And AGAIN, the idiot doesn't even show putting a can in it. Or the clearance when opening the door.
Make one for the JK
MORryde does have one for the JK! You can find it here: www.extremeterrain.com/morryde-side-mount-jp54-018.html
Thanks for watching, Steve! -Zach
