Hi Marc... nice job. If u put 2,3 different color layers on the tile and you play with the speed and power settings, you can create nice colorfull pictures.
Nice effect, The original Norton White Tile method needed the remaining paint removed with chemical stripper. If you did that on your selection how would the laser carve effect look?
I’ll have to have a look into that. This method just removes the paint to show the original tile colour underneath. I think the Norton method burns the paint on to the tile? I think without having to use any stripper to remove the paint afterwards this is a bit quicker and possibly safer then 👍🏻
I have been trying slate tiles and ceramic white tiles and i cannot engrave a photo on them no matter what i try. I run the file through ImagR and nothing works. I see a darkish image on the white tile but when i wash off the paint nothing is left on the tile.

Would this work with a diode laser?
I’ve just received the falcon 2 yesterday and don’t know where to start
It will definitely work with a diode laser, especially the falcon 2 👍🏻

What laser is it you have? I’ve noticed some lasers just aren’t very good at engraving photos because the beam is thicker on some than others.
