Now this was something special... When i saw the title where two of my favorite musicians were mentioned i was already excited but I wasn't expecting that. It always amazes me when something so beautiful is born from a tragedy. It is heart breaking that Alec Wildey had no chance to hear this masterpiece
I'm so happy you did this. I'm pretty sure I recommended this all the way back in your first couple months. It's one of my favorite MD compositions . What a collaboration an entire album would be. Sadly , we'll probably, never get an album. The original sounds essentially the same, but perhaps a better mix would be noticeable with headphones
This is a great song. Somehow the soundscape reminds me of the first Lunatic Soul (M Duda) album that came out 2008. I can't remember Jim, if you have checked that one but I would Strongly recommend this trio of songs from it. Lunatic Soul, Adrift and The Final Truth
@@JimNewsteadThat record is one hell of a ride, a pure masterpiece. Lljudet Innan is actually one of my favourite songs of all time - ethereal, angelic, soothing, just perfect.
What a sad story😢 but great action of 2 great artists - beautiful song❤

I am a fan of Steven Wilson but not heard this before. It was so lovely.
This was a beautiful song! Sad story but glad it is getting out to the world through streaming! Thanks for this Jim!!
You are very welcome 😁
Glad more folks will hear this with the rerelease, an underappreciated brilliant collaboration.
Such a gorgeous piece of music...

A great and fitting tribute. Thanks for bringing it to my attention Jim, (and whoever sent you the email) definitely to be downloaded.

Woah i didnt know these two did a collaboration!
I know!
Wasn't overly keen with the song itself but the mellotron elevated it to something special.
Storm Corrosion breathes again.
Not sure about the Storm Corrosion comparison. Though i'd recommend you check it out, a really good album which has just been re-issued.
Beautiful! Jim, have you checked out Storm Corrosion?
Not yet!

If you love this Jim, as I do, you’ll love Storm Corrosion (Steven Wilson and Mikael Akerfeldt)
