Absolutely! The tensions between Gilmour and Waters ruined many of the beautiful things Pink Floyd had built. It's great that Gilmour has finally spoken out about this. Sometimes, differences in composition styles can lead to unintended consequences.
I don't understand why people are praising Gilmour for this. The act of criticizing Roger only worsened the image of both of them. Instead of openly criticizing each other, they should focus on what has made their music great.
Waters is embarassing. The guy is 80 and still behaving like a 21 year old college girl. Protesting and speaking against, usually on the wrong side, things that he doesn't fully understand.
I think the fact that Waters continues to speak out and participate in protests shows that he still has a passion and commitment to social issues. That's not a bad thing! In fact, people like him bring a different perspective and can inspire the younger generation to take action.
@@HDCTimes-720Problem is he inspires the younger generation on the wrong path. It’s pretty simple. His insistence that he was Pink Floyd lead to his downfall and Pink Floyd’s continuance. It’s a shame I have watched Pink Floyd since 1965. It was obvious then it was Syd’s band.
@@MadDog-dn5st Nope you are wrong, he thinks he was not only Pink Floyd but his delusional thinking is real. I have watched him since 1965, I probably know him better than you. You need to grow up.
I think that the divide between these two has gone on for far too long and now they’re just too old to let go especially for Roger Waters. He continues to berate Gilmore just to keep this going. No I seriously doubt if Roger will ever let it go. At least Until one of them is gone.
27 minutes and the title of the video remains unsatisfied.

Gilmour hasn't "broken his silence." He has always been pretty forthcoming about his opinions on Roger.

@@HDCTimes-720Having watched Floyd since 1965 I disagree with your flawed assessment.

On the contrary he speaks out on the right side of issues, it is you who are wrong, so we might as well agree to disagree...

Spot on!
7:11 Why is the video here Gilmour and Klaus Meine, lead singer of the Scorpions?

17:54 “Water’s”???
Let's be honest, their both hypocrites.
What has Gilmour done that's hypocritical?
