Twins are definitely more common - at least in the States than I realised. I'm curious about how much the numbers are effected by the implantation of two or more fertilised eggs during IVF (In Vitro Fertilisation) instead of one.
TheMovieMyLife during IVF, they do insert a fair few fertilised eggs and implant them in order to improve the survival chance. This is why many women who have IVF tend to have twins/triplets (and sometimes more!) :)

I have a fact that most people don't know about twins its that if a set of girl identical twins get with the same dna both get married to another set of twin brothers with the same dna and all sets have kids their kids are actually biologically siblings
well your right and wrong technology is more advanced now were you could tell the difference but yeah if you use the basic DNA test their siblings
but they might get different genetics from each parent (like one cousin gets wide nose from their dad, the other cousin get s their nose from their mom)
Its also possible to have fraternal twins but they be different skin colors and still have the same father And mother

Kpopperishere I am an identical twin. I love being a twin. But there are down sides of being a twin. You constantly get compared between each other. Somebody will be like: "she is the prettier twin" or "she is the nicer twin" or even "i can tell them apart because on is fatter then the other". But then again since we look so much alike people will stop us in the middle of the mall and ask if we're twins. It makes me feel famous 😂

I have a twin brother and we have always been best friends and did basically everything together. Right now it barely even feels like we're related anymore (he has a girlfriend he spends all of his time with and I can't do the things we used to do like hiking and camping because I'm disabled now), and it feels like a piece of me is gone. We live together but it feels like I barely even see him anymore :( Being a twin is great unless the connection is changed and you feel a hole inside you.

As a twin I agree with most of these and when I was little my twin and I would fall asleep in separate rooms and when my mom went to check on us she would notice we were sleeping in the same position and according to her this happened very often

Anyone else thought about the fact that if someone has identical twins it's possible that the twins switched names multiple times when they were babies because people accidentally called one by the wrong name and no one realized and just assumed it was correct.
