Excellent camera work and narration. The old school cabover is a beauty! Have trucked the same routes but never anything close to this size. I've done lowbed and step deck work and lots of oversize. You guys are in a whole other league! Great to see real working classic trucks!! 🏒🇺🇲🇨🇦

Awesome footage of the haul Joe. I've never pulled a steering dolly. Looks exciting, especially the view from the dolly. And of course the cherry on top was bringing her home on the hook. Lol. Koodos to your daughter for all the work she did.

That dolly looks like fun! My old fire department had a hook and ladder...a tiller truck, and I loved steering the trailer!! Looks about the same, except you're on the ground and we were up in the air on top of the trailer!

An astounding video!! Your daughter did an outstanding job with this awesome video. I've never seen a girder that long being hauled, and the tractor/jeep/steering dolly combo made for a fascinating rig, with an overall length just shy of an incredible 200 feet!! Talk about looong! The view from the steering dolly was great; it really takes experience to take the turns safely with a load that long! Loved seeing that Freightliner cabover!! Still gettin' r done! Sorry about the mechanical at the end, though. Thanks for posting, totally enjoyable.

What a great video. I actually worked at a prestress place and then ran heavy equipment on big road and bridge projects in Florida . In Moore Haven Florida the beams that went over water were brought in by a barge. They placed one beam and the strongeback setup that was designed to hold the beam in place didn't work and the beam fell before they could hook the cranes back up. The beam fell on the barge holding the other 4 beams I believe, and 2 or 3 fell into the water way. It was a a few month setback on the bridge construction. That was around 1998,99.
