the oshkosh with the trailer in yellow paint looks awesome, especially with the huge D10!... interesting ist also, that russian guys were making their money in cameroun with american equipment! i like that they use the supports while loading and securing the d10 for transport with accepatable chains. good job...
Very cool video! Nice to see an Oshkosh rig such as that hauling something for peaceful purposes! Love the sound of that Detroit Diesel! The 2 stroke Detroits are dead in the USA "because they pollute more"...
This has got to be the first time I’ve seen the support legs actually used, we used to just drop the trailer as low as it could go and load whatever we were hauling. Now that I think about it I may have used them when loading an up armored D9, also referred to as a “Palestinian Home wrecker “.
Didn't even get out of the gate and I saw the marker on the right side of the blade got knocked off. If that was to happen in north america, it wouldn't be long before the highway patrol would have you pulled over.
Yeah that’s crazy. I want to know do you need permits to move that type of load? What is the normal weight with semi in your country? hearing US is 80,000 pounds
A massive dozer but it's still under half the weight of the D11T at 124 tons and even smaller than the Komatsu D575a-3 at 148.8 tons. Still no less impressive piece of equipment. That Oshkosh seems to be able to pull that thing quite easily. I don't know the full specs behind it but I'd be curious to see if it would move the D11T or a 457 or even a 575 series Komatsu dozer. That would be impressive for sure.
They state a max of 230,000lbs(at max speed) for the truck. The truck weighs 39,000lbs and the trailer 45,000 lbs,the trailer has a max load of around 120tons at max speed and around 160 tons at reduced speed.
@@Kenny-pm7qr I worked on them in the Military, states right on the vehicle/trailer unless some idiot at rebuild carc painted over it like they almost always do.

What massive logs on those trucks!
Four chains is not enough to secure that load. Nice rig and trailer.

That Oshkosh is one weird looking truck, but I like it !!
Yeah, they seemed to specialise in weird, but very cool, trucks.
Thats the truck used to move American tanks so its perfect to move what is basically a tank.

Can this rig pull a standard semi trailer, or will it have to be Modified in order to push the pin to the back? @ 11:54, WTH is that guy thinking?
