- YOU GUYS… I’m FINALLY Trying out the famous Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation!! I’ve been hearing people rave about this for YEARSSS and I finally bought it off of Amazon this week! I wanted to sit down and film a proper first impression since it’s been on my makeup bucket list for so long :) I hope you all enjoy this video!! Bourjois is widely available in Europe and it's my go-to brand for blushes, highlighter and foundation. Healthy Mix foundation has been my go-to for years and I keep coming back to it. Loved to see your review and more people talking about it!

@@Patti-1962 Allie used the shade 51 and I think that there is only one lighter shade, 50 which has a cool undertone. You are right, it does not come in much lighter shades, very dark either. They must have only 12-15 different shades, which could be improved.

@@nancybarrett6266 Hi from Slovenia! It's very long lasting on me (I have dry skin and use a moisturizing primer) and it's reasonably buildable. I get a very nice medium coverage with it and then add a bit of concealer for a full coverage look, if needed. Hope this helps!
Years ago Lisa Eldridge mentioned this foundation on her channel. She loves her foundation to be undetectable as do I. She even said she used her magnifying mirror to be sure that it was. This is a great foundation.

I bought this like a year ago and I saw someone on UA-cam using it and I loved how the skin looked. I don’t know why I haven’t used it recently but now I remember how much I enjoyed this foundation and will be using it again!
I wore this foundation in Vietnam-- 120°f, 100% humidity. No primer and it still looked smooth all day for me and the finish was lovely. Definitely one of my favorite foundations!!
I love the matching concealer as well!!! Very hydrating, yet long lasting! And not too too much coverage. Great for everyday.

I first used the Bourjois brand about 10-12 years ago when Sephora carried their baked blush. It was awesome. Your demo makes me want to try this foundation. I love a formula that allows your real skin to show.
I love their concealer and blushes ! they were also the first ones to come up with the "chocolate scent" bronzer

Yup. I’ve been wearing this foundation since i was a teen which is more than 10 years ago. Their new formula is even better with the vitamin mix and all. It’s also non comedogenic which is amazing!
Bourgeois! Years ago they had the whole line in-store at Sephora, and then they disappeared. 😢 A couple of their products were my ride or die. I’m glad to find out they still exist and can be shipped to me.
They're everywhere in Russia though(we only have like 10-15 brands available) and they're beautifuuulll, especially this foundation

Bourgeois are disappearing from our stores in the uk now. Hope they are not being discontinued. I have the foundation I bought years ago. I haven’t opened it yet though. Does anyone know if it will still be ok to use.

@@Natalie-gb8tt When I moved to the UK two years ago I found a statement on their website that due to customs as a result of Brexit they had stopped selling in stores. I have just found it on Amazon two weeks ago. I used to stock up each year when we would come to the UK to visit my in-laws and was so disappointed when I moved and couldn't get it, lol. 🙂
I just love your look today. Well every day actually! But just as you mentioned you have a very fresh look. It always surprises me how you are able to barely touch your brushes to your face and create such beautiful results. You are truly a makeup artist. Ok I just wanted to add how much I enjoy your shoplist feature. It really makes buying the items you wear so easy! My husband may say too easy but hey he enjoys the results!

I’ve been wearing it since 2010 I think, because Lisa Eldridge loved it, as well as the Healthy Mix Serum version. Both are wonderful foundations 👌🏼 The Serum version is more of a gel-like texture. I have used all the different formulas, from the original first Healthy Mix, which was more for normal-combination skin, to this “newer” formula, which is more glowy. My go-to fall-winter foundation; in the summer I need something more mattifying and longer lasting. Plus, I have it as an undertone reference, because Bourjois foundations traditionally lean towards a yellow undertone (hard to find at the drugstore), which is perfect for me. The concealer and the powder from the Healthy Mix line are also beautiful. Glad you have in the States now, enjoy it, greetings from Spain! 👋🏼 😊

I’m so glad you tried this foundation. I have loved this foundation for years( I have dry skin) it’s on the pricier side in drugstore. I also love their rouge range liquid lipsticks , suitable for my yellow undertone skin. Sadly this brand has been discontinued here in Australia.
My cousin visited from Poland recently and she left me her Bourjois BB cream and I love it! I didn't realize that they have a foundation, that it's available on Amazon, and that it has such amazing reviews! I'll definitely be trying this after I go through the BB cream! Thanks!!

I love this foundation! I stared using it when I lived in Ireland. I have oily skin, but with primer & powder, I'm able to make it work. It never looks cakey or heavy. I re-up every time I travel to Europe or if someone I know is going, I beg them to bring me back one or two.
I have been using several Bourjois foundations for years!! They are so, so good 😍I may have +30 foundations, including a few high end ones (one from Giorgio Armani for example that is gorgeous) and still after so many years, the Bourjois CC cream is my number one, followed very close by the healthy mix.

I don't think you have tried the Nabla Close Up foundation. It has a natural semi matte finish and despite of having quite dry skin, I love it.
Also, there is a Spanish brand called 3INA (3 is pronounced as M, so it sounds like meenah) that has quite a lot of very good products and I believe they are available in many countries. They have gorgeous cream shadows, liners, blushes, some foundations, etc, pretty much everything. I don't see many people reviewing them but the ones who have, really liked them. In case you would like to try a different and interesting brand😆

We don't have access to much in Australia but this brand is easily accessible. I have gone through so many bottles of this foundation, it was one of the first I ever purchased and I can't go without it in my collection. It looks beautiful, it is always what I choose when doing a friends makeup cause I know it will look good on everyone (young, old, dry or oily). However, it doesn't last a full day even with primer, powders and sprays but it does wear off very naturally so I cant get mad at it! 😊

(Husband's account) but Purlisse ageless glow BB cream was sent to me in my boxy charm and I am in love with it. I also can't help but think that it is right up your alley. It feels like nothing on the skin, it's sheer but has great coverage, its tacky when applied but then when you powder it it is like locked down and does not budge or transfer on my mask. It is insane!!! Also has skincare ingredients and I think it has done wonders for my skin. It has moved up to my number 1 foundation SO fast and I just really want you to try it out and see if you like it!! Love you xoxo Lindsay!

If your inspo is the look: perfect skin with nivea cream on, this will get you almost there.
1 pump applied with hands is enough for me; sunce then I stoped using undereye concelear as this was doping great! Looks great on texture, blotting before re-setting from hour 5 for oily parts but looks great. Def.agree on other comments: blushes and lip products are worth it!
Shiseido's foudation (one with cap before the selfrefreshing) looked and felt the same.
Been using this foundation since I was 15 .. I’m 28 now. The matching powder is also excellent. The 123Perfect foundation is also great, more full coverage and powdery. I heard that BOURJOIS produces Chanel makeup.

Probably my holy grail foundation for my desert dry skin 🤣 I've used it for years and it never disappoints, especially when my skin is acting up again.
Loved this foundation for years! Love all of Bourjois lip products too BUT my all time favourite is a CC cream they have! The shade range is awful but it’s SO GOOD!

I’ve been using this same healthy mix for probably over 5 yrs and it’s lovely. There are two disadvantages in my opinion- my entire forehead gets extremely oily which happens with this one only and the other one is that it rubs off when wearing a mask. It’s an amazing product for daily use however

Yes, years ago when it was all the rage and I loved it! I can’t remember where I ordered it from, but it was from outside the US. The only issue I had was finding a good shade match. Im going to have to check out Amazon! ETA: I just ordered the same shade that you have as we’re similar in shade, but I have a bit more yellow😊

YES!!. I’ve been getting it from Amazon and I love it!!!. 🧡🧡🧡🧡. I had bought the PF one per a lot of influencers recommendation and it did not work for me at all. It separated and looked horrible. This one looks so good on my skin and very long wearing on me as well.
Oh my goodness, I knew exactly what foundation that was in the photo. Not because I've ever tried it, but because UA-cam introduced it to me years and years ago. I've never had it available where I live (and totally forgot it existed), but now that it's on Amazon I'm excited to try it!
Healthy mix is one of my favorite foundation for spring /summer . There is so many great brands in Europe but discontinued in usa like max factor or Art Deco.
It does look like a second skin and seems to be a wonderful foundation. The wear test is going great and it still looks good.

YES. I loved Bourjois and used it all throughout my college years when I was able to go back and forth in the Middle East where it is available. It's an official alternative to Chanel! ❤️ But since graduating, I stayed here in the Philippines and you can't find this anywhere 🥺

Yes, yes, yes! It's the best colour match for me ever (fair, yellow undertone), but I don't appreciate the scent. Wears well with my dry sensitive skin, though.
Bourjois is all over the Europe and this foundation is well known here. I’ve used it several times already and I love it.
I would suggest the Diego Dalla Palma Nudissimo Soft Matt Foundation. I never see this brand discussed but they have some lovely products. I love how light this is and comfortable to wear. It has great medium to buildable coverage. This foundation mixed in with my Nabla Skin Realist Tinted Balm is my new holy grail. I usually do an even mix of the 2, I use 242n neutral light beige in the DDP and Fair 1 in the Nabla. We have similar skin tones. Hope it's something you would consider 🥰

I was told back when Ulta carried Bourjois that it was a “affordable sister brand of Chanel”. I used to love their lip glosses. I wish it would come back to the US.

I love this foundation! I don’t wear foundation every day but on the rare times I do this is the one I use. Unfortunately Bourjois stopped selling their products in my country and they also pulled out of the UK so it’s now harder to get hold of.

I remember when you could get bourgeois easily here in the US. It disappeared and I kind of forgot about it. I seem to remember it’s made by the same company that owns Dior or Chanel or something.

ALLIE!!!!!!! You NEED to try the Serum version of this foundation!!!!! The Healthy Mix Serum Foundation was the one Lisa Eldridge talked about years ago and went viral. Was my favorite and probably will still be. You and me are shade twins so try the 52 shade. Hope you read this! ❤️
Recently they lounched Always Fabulous foundation which is worth trying as well :) and it has lighter tones. Brand is alright but these 2 and baked blushes are worth trying! (their iconic product)
