Salam Alaykum akhi from my limited knowledge the difference between abandoning salah and mass murder is that Salah is what differentiates us from the kuffar as per the many narrations of the prophet (SAW). It says (أفضل الجهاد) it became the best form of Jihad because the inkaar was done in the presence of ruler and that's a huge risk since the ruler can imprison you, kill you or harm you in anyway (why not, we are talking about a tyrant ruler for God's sake). Whosoever does the inkaar despite of these dangers has real guts and strong Eemaan. That's why it became the best form of Jihad. That's the reality of "Eeenda" in this hadeeth as many other shurraah has stated. Haqqan's interpretation is very much farfetched. Even if for the sake of argument if we allow his interpretation, even then that is not set in stone, it's a matter of Ijthihaad and should not be made a basis upon which deviancy is measured against.

The problem is Haqqan is taking "Eeenda" and making it absolute which he has no basis to do so. It says (أفضل الجهاد) it became the best form of Jihad because the inkaar was done in the presence of ruler and that's a huge risk since the ruler can imprison you, kill you or harm you in anyway (why not, we are talking about a tyrant ruler for God's sake). Whosoever does the inkaar despite of these dangers has real guts and strong Eemaan. That's why it became the best form of Jihad. That's the reality of "Eeenda" in this hadeeth as many other shurraah has stated. Haqqan's interpretation is very much farfetched.
Even if for the sake of argument if we allow his interpretation, even then that is not set in stone, it's a matter of Ijthihaad and should not be made a basis upon which deviancy is measured against.
