Santana's rendition of #Songbird will always be a beautiful, devastating punch to the heart! 🥲💔Naya Rivera didn't only gorgeously 'sing' the songs vocally speaking, but her 'acting' during the singing (especially all her songs to Brittney) was so beautiful, filled with heart-break and longing and full of nuances. She was such a powerhouse of a talent gone too soon. 😢
Honestly, most people were kind of annoying in this episode, but mostly Finn and Rachel. A lot of respect though for Kurt and Quinn, who both took being called cheaters and worse but yet still did not spill Sam's secret.
I'm with you, Travis. When Naya sings, I sit back and soak up every second of her beautiful talent, but there's still that little voice in the back of my head that reminds me she's gone. The one thing I take solace in is that we have Glee to remember her with.
fondue for two is probably one of my favorite things to come out of this show. i feel so represented by Britney and i quote her frequently in my everyday life 💛 i love to see her shine.
"i dont want to know" is another one of my underrated favorites from glee. finn and quinn didn't have too many duets over the course of the show and this performance really shows what we missed out on with their voices together.
Artie was really dumb for saying that… but he’s right! Santana is manipulating her, and it’s not cute Also, I love Quinn and Finn’s duet! They sound really good together
Ok hot take, mostly because lI love Santana so much. I think she was confused about sex. As a lesbian in 2010 in a country with really no education about sexuality - she may have actually thought sex with women wasn’t really sex, and therefore not cheating. She may really have thought of boys as “just boys” based on her own feelings.
The only thing I dislike in this episode is that the writters knew Artie was making too much sense with the whole "Santana is manipulating you" that they had to make him use a hurtfull word towards Brittany so that we would be against him at the end of it. Don't get me wrong, the Idea of Brittany/Santana as a ship is powerfull and of course we wanted bi and lesbian representations with them in love, but to never have Brit realize that what Santana was doing in lying and taking advantage of her naivetee during her entire relationship with Artie was really not a good thing to do, was just lame to me. Artie says "stupid" and then this whole thing is over... Lame. They could end the relationship another way and still have Brittana be a thing, with Brittany having a conversation with Santana that the manipulation wasn't cool. Like, Brittany was a cheater the whole relationship (without knowing it was cheating, sure, but still), Santana took advantage of her naivetee during It ALL and now Artie is the only one we're supposed to be mad at? The dude founds out he was cheated and less than 2 minutes after he founds out the show us telling us to be mad at him??? It just always made me upser how they went on about this part of the plot. The rest of the episode is just perfection tho. One of my faves.
I always thought if Artie and Brit ended it would have been amicable and friendly because there was nothing to me that indicated a mean breakup. Artie was so careful with Brits feelings in the Christmas episode and always was kind. I know he was frustrated but for someone who doesn't like to be judged it just was so out of character to call her stupid even out of frustration. So I agree with u on this. Glee was always a fun chaotic mess but this breakup was so irking to me lmao
i think this was one of the main reasons why i didn't like Santana growing up and i couldn't really get into Brittana as a ship. I get the ship more now that I'm older but even when I was young I could see that Santana was manipulating Brittany and it just made me so uncomfortable and made me side with Artie. Obviously I could see that calling her stupid was wrong but I didn't see their relationship ending that way
Both Puck and Sam's actors know how to play guitar, i'm pretty sure Cory wasn't a guitar player, at least not good enough to do it publicly. Cory's always been a drummer.
@@TravisViews i knew you'd love it, Songbird, Go Your Own Way and Dreams are top covers in this show. I LOVE Fleetwood Mac and still love these versions. And Sam's storyline is heartbreaking but beautiful 😭
Stevie Nicks was a Glee fan and made a set visit while they were filming this episode. I think some of the cast was too young to really appreciate who she was, but I'm sure it was amazing for the older actors. ua-cam.com/video/a85aKPqFock/v-deo.html
I hated how they broke up Artie and Brittany. He shouldn't have called her stupid but everything else he said was right and its why i never liked Brittany and Santana together. Theres an imbalance there and its never addressed
I have to say that Artie calling Brittney stupid was really mean, and the whole thing with everyone making assumptions about everyone else without all of the facts is so ridiculous and that sort of thing always pisses me off.
go your own way gave me chills....Lea doesn't have the best voice but she just got it...brings emotions like nobody else in the show other than Darren. (just my opinion and I'm sure most won't agree)

Right that was so good of Quinn and Kurt for that
Santana singing Songbird always gets me too 🫶🏻 Naya was such an incredible talent
Fondue for two was giving amazing podcast potential
Literally
Fondue for two has two of the funniest running gags on the show, one involves the fondue itself...

It was so rare back then for there to be storylines in the mainstream involving the reality of teen homelessness. This episode hit hard.

exactly thank you
Yeah, Finn and Quinn’s voices so good together. It’s sad that we didn’t hear more their duets

its their only duet so we have no choice but to love it lol
Her singing Songbird and there’s another solo she sings to Britney in season 4 I think that just breaks me. Those two actresses had something special.

Travis your a beautiful human. Being honest and vulnerable during santanas song ❤
Thank you !

"Come on blue's clues!" 🤣💀
😂
I love Fleetwood Mac and the songs that they covered in the episodes.
Songbird by naya is such an amazing song
This episode got one the most underated cover of Santana and Rachel
Ha ha ha, I love Puck's hair!
I've been SO EXCITED about this episode 😭
So good

one of my fav episodes, i love fleetwood mac 💖💖
Me too !
Finn: spending a lot of time in her closet - that's garbage, Quinn's claustrophobic
Rachel: no that's Santana
Lol
Edit: corrected the exact quote

Most people talk about how Rachel is the worst character but Finn is way worse especially season 3.
Travis.....you don't like Puck's mohawk??? It is so cool and sexy.
No way.

it's only an opinion if you say you don't like her voice. saying she doesn't have the best voice just isn't factually true.
What she has one of the best voice on the show of not the best.
